Just shoot me...

I've got to put some degree of responsibility of this on Dan the Man Manager. There's something missing (well a lot) in terms of the emotional temperament and attitude of the team. It's obvious. Someone is not setting the proper tone who needs to, let alone making some very questionable decisions.

I don’t know, there is only so much he can do. Sure it would be nice to see him yell and get upset, but do you really think if he pulled a Lou Pinella on everyone that we would be winning this game?

Managers in MLB are pretty useless. They basically set the lineup and manage the pen. My hot take has always been, put a computer in the dugout and it can probably do as good if not better than the average manager.

The team is in a big slump, just a question of when and if they snap out of it.

That really is how some people think champions are made, yes.

Avoided the shutout, but not the sweep. :(

Kirby looked lost. Could not miss a bat to save his life. Of course, they were hitting balls in the dirt and a foot above the zone. Tons of seeing eye singles through the infield. Maybe we should examine our use of the shift?

1-5 on the road trip, guaranteeing a losing trip.

3-14 last 17 road games? Yeah coaching is in the spot light now.

I said in the off season Ms better be careful not to cook the rotations arms. The thing with throwing heat is it doesn't last long career wise you burn out quicker as a starter. You need other stuff to have a lengthy career. Sinker, change up, etc. Ms had the pitching to win a world series 22-24 but right now besides Woo everyone looks cooked.

No, it really isn't, but it would be nice to see a little fire from the manager every once in awhile.

I'm not talking about screaming at his players because they're struggling. I'm talking about maybe letting loose on the ump when one of your players gets tossed for simply saying "that ball was high". You might think it's childish or silly or pointless, but sometimes teams respond to seeing their manager stand up for them by going off on an ump. It's not like it could make things any worse at this point, but it very well might fire up the players a bit.

This team is broken…no way we make the playoffs unfortunately. Pitcher’s arms are shot, can’t hit collectively or consistently. Bad coaching decisions in games time and time again, and to the naked eye watching the coaching staff just sit in the dugout with no emotion while Kirby struggled yesterday. I just don’t get it, the optics are horrible rn with this team…SAD

My 11 year old.. with tons of signed balls...we hit the 120 section for her birthday every year.... Literally doesn't want to go this year for her birthday after watching games with me.

She literally stated "They don't seem to care about this as much as I do my art" Which made me think.. she gets paid nothing they get paid millions and they are literally crapping the bed... and making my kid who wants to be a girl big league player at 11, not softball cuz she says underhand throwing is dumb... not even want to go to a game... where shes always got a ball signed etc in the 120 level.

When you are making 11 year old girls, not want to watch you...... you are doing something wrong. (and no... we don't watch games together on TV; only pops in to see how we are doing; she wants to see them in person)

This last month....... is insane to ME personally. Make transactions... improve your team..and all of a sudden your strength literally just craps the bed...every...... freaking.... day ...

I knew our team wouldn't disappoint. Same early year standard... same late year sub par standard... and literally fall

So thankful for Sunday... even if I get to torch a Wilson and Metcalf Jersey all at once

I... still don't grasp this take... as a viewer.. can you explain?

YOu are telling me... multi million dollar players... who had to play their way up through the minors.. some how... crap the bed because of some bench and hitting coaches?

Yes... the Pitching management has been suspect..

But no.. coach... no personnel can keep these 8 figure Mfers from not swinging at stupid crap........ all we do is.. strike out.... Every.... day....

YOu can give them a lineup card... give them the pitch metrics... but if the human swinging the bat is too stupid to grasp it... who cares if you have the top 10 coaches in the league on your team..

Coaches... FFS this isn't little league its the majors..... the players just.. suck.... period... at their basic job for 7 and 8 figures

Woo is probably out of gas at this point also. The brilliant front office definitely wasted the last couple years.

The pitching is smoked at this point both aspects, Bullpen and Starters. Now we will have the offense we have always needed, and our pitching goes in the toilet. Typical Mariners unfortunately.
I still feel like the Mariners are too soft, still the whipping boys of the AL.
