Right now...yes or no answer...do the M's make the playoffs this year?
They definitely aren't winning the division. I'm tired of the bar being set at the last Wild Card, that shouldn't even count unless you make it to the World Series.

Cal batted .173 in August. Ouch
He hit two singles last night. Hopefully that means he's shortening his swing, watching the ball and not overswinging for the fences. The HR numbers are great, but he's been failing when we need him lately.

That was one of the worst games of the season. Need to bounce back today. Texas is back on our tails. If we miss the playoffs this will be a collapse of epic proportions. I think just a week ago we had like a 95% chance of making the playoffs.

It was nice to see Hancock's velocity up but not the results we wanted.

Woo struggling in the first inning..... Throwing a ton of pitches. Get the bullpen ready again.

The road misery continues. SMH.

Or just keep him in. Most the long relievers have been taxed from yesterday. He’s probably our best option regardless what happens.

I know I don't want to see Castillo pitching on the road again. It's an automatic loss & bullpen game.

Ferguson just isn’t very good. Advanced stats showed that his numbers were probably better than who he is.

Minus WAR guy since we got him and ERA that’s probably going to jump above 5 assuming one of these runs come in.

The bats he got at the deadline were great, but he’s cheap. I would have traded away high end prospects to get a high leverage bullpen arm.

Cal stikes out with the bases loaded. This team is allergic to success. F&#^

Solo HR's are nice and stuff, but it'd sure be neat if someone in this lineup could get a damn hit when we have runners in scoring position.

We can get on base, we're just not putting it all together when we do.

Cal leaves 5 guys on base his last 2 at bats. MVP players don't do that. He also batted .179 in the month of August.

I'm not giving him a pass. He's my favorite player. Where is the clutch???? Left the bases loaded when it was 4-4. Leaves 2 more on to the end the game.
