I watched them both every game. Dexter played better.
Help me with an objective opinion from the Bears board:
Odunze or Verse? I told them I would trade Odunze for Verse.
I don't know enough about Odenze or verse to opine, sorry. I might claim to be John Schneider's soulmate, but my actual football knowledge is minimal.

I still have no idea how we're going to fare record-wise this season. Almost 20% of games are decided by a FG's width, and something like 70% of games come down to the wire as one score games. With all our uncertainties (OL, QB, thin depth at a few positions, etc...) I think it's somewhat reasonable to estimate our win total in the 7-11 range. Of course I'd love to win 12 or 13 games and outright claim the division title.

Key injuries aside (you just never know how much the injury bug is going to bite you), I think it's going to boil down to how we fare in close games overall. Good teams win more than their share of close games, get the big stops, get the key turnover, make fewer mistakes, succeed on game winning drives...these kinds of things...finding ways to win games rather than lose them.

I'm just interested to get this season rolling and start getting answers to these and other questions.

I think our own division beats up on each other again, that and it takes a bit to turn baby soft to tortoise shell as far as toughness, we need depth to keep speed and physicality on the field. Not sure we have that yet. 11 wins hopefully and a dogfight to see who gets in as a Division winer and wild card.

13 wins.

Darnold proves that last year was not a fluke and that he IS a Good QB and not just a product of a Kevin O' Connell system.

He won't have the gaudy numbers but he will have the gaudy 13 wins (that includes a Division title plus 2 Playoff wins for 2025).

Agreed! But, but but .....

Top 10 OL, from bottom 5. Schneider's genius level analysis that Geno, Metcalf and Lockett were the culprits that sunk the '23-'24 OL.

Upgrade at QB, after all bretherns here knew how geNO wasn't good. How we are three deep, Milroe, Darnold and my boy Lock.

Coming of age for Murphy, for this season, anything less than 10 sacks will be a disappointment.

Top of the league defense, even hateful media ranked our defense #1.

Tightness and cohesion from ownership down. Jody and Schneider are wearing his and hers matchy matchy outfits, Macdonald is a total Schneider guy, so is Kubiak, most of the Pete guys are cleansed This is a team spoke with one voice, that's how you win championships.
Darnold is an upgrade?

won't be shocking to us.

I guess it would be to you for some reason that escapes me.
So are you prepared to bet money on over 7.5? If you are expecting 11, that should be a slam dunk bet.

I’m going with 12 wins, and battling the Cardinals for the division.

Health is a perennial problem for Shannahan teams, and the Niners are aging.

Rams have a tough schedule, and Garropolo is going to have to carry them through some rough games.

Cards are underrated.

Cards have a baby at qb. Rams have a senior citizen at qb. Niners are old and that’s just a bitch for them. We’re third youngest team. Bring on the 12 wins for the 12s!

I went with 13. The same number as our ranked strength of schedule. We've go the 13th easiest SOS.

I think our offense is going to shock some people. I'd agree with another post that says top 5 is the floor for our defense this year.

Looked at the schedule - only 'scary' games we have well, other than the Commanders is the Stealers and the Rams.

I'm gonna say 4 losses.

I always wait until the pre season is over to make my prediction and it’s officially over. I think we won more than our talent last year. I think that was more like an 8 win team. So with that in mind I’ve got us at 11 wins this year.

This is probably one of the best value bets in sports betting right now.
Bears are at 8.5. I am considering that, but Packers just got Parsons.

My question with Seahawks remains with interior offensive line and Lucas health at RT.
