When sports books set odds it has nothing to do with who they think will win but to encourage betting on both sides. When there is equal bets for both teams the bookie is most likely to make a profit

12-5 a different way.
I disagree, with defense playing better than last year and running game revs up, we are at least 12-5.If the defense plays as well as I think they could and the running game revs up? 10-7.
Slowly but surely (Don't worry, I'm not calling you Shirley...but we're counting on you) I'm beginning to understand the moments when you're not sarcastic and when you are.I disagree, with defense playing better than last year and running game revs up, we are at least 12-5.
I seriously doubt McCaffrey is done. It would not be surprised to see the Niners have a bounce back year. They won't win the division but I don't think they'll at the bottom again.Over half their starters from LVIII are gone. McCaffrey is done. So is Trent Williams. They'll bounce back because of their easy schedule, but I don't think they win more than 10 games.
They didn't have him last year and they won the division. The Rams don't have "Oh my God!" Aaron Donald anymore, so there's no excuse for us not to kick their arsenal and win the division.
I think his point was that the Rams are more beatable without Donald than with him. They didn't have him last year and they won the division.
While I would tend to agree, they've been pretty damn good without him so far.I think his point was that the Rams are more beatable without Donald than with him.
Sure.I think the Hawks will go 11-6 or 12-5 and make the playoffs.

This fascinates me. Every single egg in one basket. Not a proven QB on the team. Howell may have some upside.Minnesota is an interesting game. They are making one of the wildest gambles this season. Offseason talk is that McCarthy will slide right in and be fine. But why? He wasn't a consensus slam dunk QB in the 2024 draft and went on to play well for part of one preseason game. That's it.
I agree. I wouldn't be surprised at all with a win but Im a homer and I see a potential win in every game. They had a better season than us last year but now we have their QB. How much will their familiarity with Darnolds strengths and weaknesses benefit their game plan? Will the emotion of a "revenge game" help or hinder Darnold?Minnesota is an interesting game.
