I ******* love this pick. Big, fast, great character kid. This draft is an A+ so far. Arroyo is perfect for Kubiak's scheme and is a field stretcher that opens up JSN and Kupp and gives Sam a safety blanket. Gonna trust that the Hawks verified the health and if so, this is a huge win.

... and then didn't work out at the NFL combine due to a knee injury.
Other knee.... suffered at the Senior bowl... Context matters

Why work out if not 100 percent.......................... Hurts the stock more than the actual production... lets be real here

Giant difference between a tear.... and a sprain. But .. apples to apples right?

Out of actual curiosity..... lets say an NFL player missed one year in college, then 2 more years in the NFL... yet still a pro bowler... first team etc.

You'd have the same concern... but be dumb not to draft him yeah?

And FYI, the "durability issues" and "battled a ton of injuries" comments weren't my words. That was some of the very first things that were brought up by the guys on NFL Network immediately after the pick was announced.

Well you know how NFL network and announcers are :p (He missed two years due to the same knee that took time to recover but didnt re-injure)

Looking forward to see if he pans out. It would be a real change of pace to have a legit threat at TE for us.
Sam will need a Safety Valve-type player to throw to when the WRs are covered.

Was he fragile last year with 7 TDs 31 receptions... a over 78 percent block rate... 13 yd average?

Also the same average when he was injured

His ONE knee injury held him out two years... Again.. context

Speaking of context, I'd love to hear some context regarding that injury, because missing 2 years due to 1 knee injury is pretty unusual in this day and age.

The guy had 1 year of college production due to injuries. You're more than welcome to not be at all concerned about that, but I think it's a bit silly to act like it's not a valid concern.

Come on guys, stop being Debbie Downers. I've been as critical of John as anyone, but he's absolutely crushing this draft!
If I was a Little Debbie's Downer, would it be ok ? I'd complain about stuff but I'd be friggin delicious !
