From my observation point behind my computer down in Portland Or, I don't think that Aaron Rodgers fits what Mike Macdonald and company want to put together. 1.) He's well past his prime. 2.) He'll want big $$$$$ 3.) He just doesn't fit the physically dominant persona MM wants.

Seems they are kicking the tires on FA options. I saw some posts online saying Rodgers was in Seattle yesterday, but was he seen at VMAC?

My hope is Seattle goes younger. I like the idea of Darnold reuniting with Kubiak. Seahawks pairing a younger but experienced QB in a system he's been in before with Seattle's young RBs and JSN, spend a little money and draft capital on the IOL is what makes the most sense to me.

This is a "Meat and Potatoes" draft. It's all about the trenches this year.
As a comment to point 3...does Darnold fit the physically dominant personna that MM wants?

Why? Know any other occupation where he could make tens of millions for a half year of work? Greed. That’s why.
Cmon now.. I don’t like Rodgers as well as the next guy but now we’re calling players greedy if they agree to play for teams that have roster issues??

I’m calling a guy greedy who is past his expiration date as a player yet still wants tens of millions to play.

I'll belive it when I see it. I just don't get worked up over rumors and stories for clicks these days. Waste of energy.

You responded to “greed” as the answer to this question:

“Without DK and without Lockett, AND with a porous Oline, why would someone like Rodgers even entertain playing QB for Seattle.”

So not sure how to read that any other way that what I summarized…

The Seahawks need a QB that is good at running for his life.

Rodgers can’t do that.
