I never know if your serious or masochistic
I don't believe that Geno will enjoy career, popularity, and monetary satisfaction in Seattle. As a Geno Smith fanboy, I advocated for him to find another team, and I have always been serious about it.

Here comes the confusing part: most GeNOs wanted him either out or to take a lowball contract, which is a form of humiliation for a pro bowl quarterback. So, I share the same goal with GeNOs but for different reasons.

Does it make sense? OK, I won't bore you with how I came to my decisions.

I believe it's our 6th for their 7th.

quote from ESPN article (Bill Barnwell)

The teams will also swap sixth- and seventh-round picks. There's some vagueness about which picks are involved, given that the Steelers have several conditional pick swaps in those rounds. In all, the Seahawks should end up landing draft capital amounting to a pick in the late-40s.

So if we are getting pick 52, they'd have to be giving us a 6th for our 7th or something like that to equal late 40's total value is my guess.

Really makes you wonder if the Stealers are trying to make an attractive landing spot for Darnold. They don't even have a QB right now.

Bobo probably won't be the starter come season start.
Yeah I would imagine he gets more WR3 plays cuz he likes blocking and supposedly we will be more run focused. I cant see him starting unless something goes really bad injury wise. Probably be listed as WR4 on the chart. Just my guess

That Russini person who suddenly seems to know everything about what we're doing reported last night that the Steelers are planning on making him an offer.

Well... damn. Knew he was gone already, but still. Was holding onto a sliver of hope.

Feel like this off-season got real nuts, real fast.
Yea, this.

****, I hope there's a plan here - 'cause I can't see one right now.

No, so trading DK before June 1st only saves us $10.8 million. We still have the 4th most cap space this year and the most cap space next year.

DK is 5/$150 million but it’s an extension of 4/$132 million so he is basically getting $33 million/year. Thats top 3 WR money now behind Jefferson and Lamb.

DK isn’t a fit in this system. He is very limited route running. Need strong route running and timing in this offense.

I'm sure it's been said many times in these threads, but this is obviously such a big factor. Of course we're probably going to be a little less dynamic on offense in the short term, but we have to fix our roster and salary cap construction for the medium term. I'd bet that Pittsburgh is going to be disappointed in how this plays out over the years.

When 20+ million to play a game is considered humiliation, I'm just turned off to the idea of rooting for or even watching people so entitled.

Price is determined by market demand, if your car has a blue book value if $15k, you won't be happy to sell for less would you?

This would be awesome if Schneider was any good at drafting players 😡
Yeah, especially the last 2 years where he's really sucked. and all those players years ago he drafted that won us a super bowl. i hope he improves too.
