It sounded like Geno visits and reads our posts, he made up his mind after agreeing with ole toffee that he will never receive love and support in Seattle.

OK, it was a joke about Geno reading toffee, but Schneider wasn't a Geno fanboy, I said it before, and I stand by that observation.

I think only one guy is reporting this so not sure it’s correct but it could be.

If the report is true, as it probably is, $40-$45 is the market price for Geno.

Well he was offering him a fair and large chunk of change to stay.
Come on man get with the times. Create a narrative and push it as if it’s true until the wheels fall off. Then push it some more. This be the hyper real my man.

When teams are willing to pay the same $, the money part is moved aside. Future earning, job satisfaction, etc. moved into focus.

Anyways, card-carrying geNOs, it's time to join the darNO club now. Folks who joined before Schneider's announcement enjoy elder status.

If this story is true, maybe Geno loves playing for Pete and as much as Pete loves him and this was his way of getting the reunion done?

Two possibilities about this $40-$45mil offer:

A spin on the initial $35mil offer, why a spin? Our lovely owner Jody wanted to know why we traded away our starting QB when all he wanted was market price? So this spin, Schneider did offer market price.

Geno Smith was part of Macdonald and Schneider's grand plan for 2025 and beyond. Schneider was blind sided by Geno.

Well, this settles it. The clincher is that the Seahawks didn't get a counter offer to their 2 year. $40-$45 million offer, they got a trade demand. With a only a week before his $16 million dollar roster bonus was due, and two days before free agency, Geno and his agent were perfectly content in backing the Seahawks into a corner. I've been a huge Geno supporter, but if that's true, adios muchacho!
