The Raiders and Chargers are #2 and #3 in cap space. Watching Schneider play two AFC teams for DK's contract rights could get interesting if it unfolds publicly.
The nice thing is, if you think about it. It's a hell of a lot easier to name the teams that won't be in on DK than it is to name all the teams that are in on DK. A lot of teams have cap and picks. I think this could be addition by subtraction if we do it right and maximize our return.

I would assume the Raiders' first round pick would be off the table. Maybe if it was part of a bigger package where we swap positions. That'd likely mean we're adding something else good though. DK also said he wanted to go to a contender, but I suppose we're not legally obligated to honor that request.

Can any of these trades involve a good, young IOL player since we're not particularly good at drafting them?

I see what you did there.

I'm gonna stay on topic via speculating that perhaps the Rams, who have plenty of cap room to work with, could find a third party thru whom to acquire DK.

I hope he doesn't become Jake Bobiocre. I like the kid, and this could be the year he takes a big leap, especially with the new OC.

SS. John Schneider is rigged and ready A whole new world, no Geno, no DK, no Lockett, and potentially no Ernest Jones. Here, Ode to Geno, DK, and Lockett:

There's SS John Schneider lies rigged and ready in the harbor
Tomorrow for old SeaHawks, she sails
Far away from .NET's endless sunshine
To a season full of rainy skies and gales
And I shall be aboard that ship tomorrow
Though my heart is full of tears at this farewell

For DK, Geno, Lockett are beautiful
More dearly than the spoken word can tell
For they are beautiful, and I have loved you dearly
More dearly than the spoken word can tell

I heard there'r wicked games a-blazing
And the taste of war I know so very well
Even now I see the foreign flag a-raising
Their guns on fire as we sail into Hell
I have no fear of defeats, it brings no sorrow
But how bitter will be this last farewell

Now I shall have another cocktail.

If DK is traded, it has to be for 2 picks, or a pick/WR swap. It doesn't benefit Seattle to trade a player like DK for a single pick, just so they can use said single pick to draft a WR who may or may not replicate DK's production.
More important than the amount of picks is the value of the pick(s).

I've come around to the view that the disruptive one year with Ryan Grub era is looking like a still unfolding disaster.

With the loss of Lockett and potentially DK, production from Jaxon Smith-Nigba should slip considerably. This year's offense is unlikely to place a repeat emphasis on force feeding JSN. Without two stars demanding coverage attention, this will be a very challenging campaign for JSN.

As of right now, yes. But you know they will be adding to the WR group soon. I'm not sure you can call Lockett a star and say he demanded coverage attention.
The thing that could benefit JSN as much as adding WR talent around him is making the run game formidable.
They have had a good passing offense while having arguably the worst OL for a couple of years. I would imagine starting (potentially) 3 IOL upgrades would also help make up for the loss of DK and Lockett on it's own.

People would actually want Jake Slobro getting starter reps? That kind of news would have me going "Jake? Oh, no!".
People would change to “Less Bobo, for the love of God”

DK Metcalf is the once in a great while headliner that teams need for crowd building. Both the Chargers and Raiders need such a rare receiver. As do the Seahawks.

The biggest hurdle when it comes to trading DK is not only are teams going to part with draft picks, they are also going to have to shell out free agent money to resign him.

I doubt many team will do what Schneider does and trade for a player in the last year of their contract without having an agreed extension with the player
