Yes, home of the Rainiers and the expansion Pilots during their only major league season in 1969. I was 10 and fully engulfed in baseball like most boys of the era. If you got to watch a baseball game on TV it was probably the Cincinnati Reds (Big Red Machine) and pick up games at the local field we're a mainstay of life.
Our Dad's alerted us that a team called the Pilots were coming to Seattle, quite a buzz about them.
Never got to go to a game and was disappointed they folded so soon.
A half dozen years and many growing pains later the Seahawks were born.

They didn't really 'fold.' IIRC they moved to Milwaukie.

It's crazy those guys are the best to ever play the game. Not just the best Ms players.

Where does the time go? Seeing them older makes me feel old.
