So, what's the difference between 'steering' games and a conspiracy? If two or more people cooperate to 'steer' a game, is that not a conspiracy?

I agree wholeheartedly that the Chiefs are the beneficiary of some very biased officiating. The question is why.
Simple, the word conspiracy is taboo and people are afraid of being associated with it, even though conspiracies are one of the guarantees of human existence

As I said in the other thread on the subject, I'm not signing on to any conspiracy theories. But that was the most obviously biased job of officiating that I've seen since XL, and this time, I didn't have a horse in the race as I didn't really care who won.

Whether the league agrees with the majority of the fans or not, they have a serious credibility issue on their hands.

Plenty of HAWKS fans seem to gloss over that while praising the almighty Rams and Coach McPretty boy.
They were HANDED a SB birth. Then, in the Super Bowl........more help from the refs when it mattered.
