I was listening to Rob Parker earlier, he's part of the baseball writers who vote. He thinks someone just turned in a blank ballot as a "protest" vote for whatever reason

This 100%... Ichiro is the definition of a Hall of Fame player. He was everything you could ever want in a player on, and off the field. That writer deserves to have his credentials revoked IMO.

Sounds like it was someone who just left their ballot empty to boycott for some reason. But that’s speculation

I saw a comment that said there was a voter who is either a yankees fan and wants Mariano Rivera to remain the only unanimous player, or doesn't believe that anyone should be unanimous.
