Using Graham like NO did would have been the logical thing to do, or maybe ask Graham what plays was he most comfortable with. I think he was at his best running stick routes from the slot against zone defenses and just sit in a seam. It was the same thing I was hoping the Seahawks would have done when they tried Terrell Pryor as a receiver
There wasnt a star receiver in the league that could have done in Seattle what he did wherever he was.
Our offense wasnt one that utilized receivers within the context if a designed route. So Jimmy, even if he wasnt asked to block, would never have recreated the type of production he had in NO because he ran routes based on timing and predicted on qb and receiver understanding defensive concepts and how secondaries would play routes.
The passing game in seattle was a free for all, seldom running on predictable, repeatable, designed plays. He got a payday in Seattle. Everything else was a relative disappointment.
Guys like him, ADB, and even Tyler... they would have had very different (in better way) careers, had they played in an offense and with a QB eho could maximize the considerable talents they had.
