Making the playoffs (even if they lose) is better than imaginary momentum

Cmon now

Dont get me wrong, If they make the playoffs, im not gonna be upset but the fact is the the Rams put themselves in the drivers seat. I would rather just focus on winning out rather than worrying whether another team will fail or not. In my mind, the Rams already are in the playoffs , so I just want the Hawks to finish their season strong.

I am happy, never expected this much to begin with, knew that everyone was basically in their Rookie season as far as Staff and GM. Everyone has been able to get their feet wet and see how their systems work in the NFL, now know what has to be adjusted, acquired, and tweaked.

The positives are we have set the culture now and philosophy under Mac, there will be turnover to get guys that are now selling out and or are not all in.

We have a winning season as well sucks for draft prospects to some maybe, but I think we will be ok, We definitely need O line help, a RB that is more a bruiser, not slasher types, have to improve our short yardage game and inflict our will on a defense when we are Goal line and 3rd or 4th and 1.

Things will only going to get better if we don't panic, Fans that want an easy button, well I am sure the Chiefs have room on their bandwagon. 2 years maybe three if we stay the course and become a steady influence at the top again.

hang on; who is expecting Atlanta to beat Washington? from what I've seen from the Falcons, I would not be favouring them vs Washington. Penix isn't going to get 2 defensive TDs and be up against awful opposition every week

Falcons need the win more than Washington. That's a pretty big incentive.

You really want to see this team in Minnesota or Greenbay? I'm over it, looking forward to watching what moves are made this off season.
This.

Honestly - we're just pissing into the wind at this point.

Does anyone here think that even with divine intervention at the Cards/Lambs game - that we would be anything but crucified in the first round of the playoffs?

We're toast.

Dan Quinn is doing a fantastic job with a Commanders squad that wasn't expected to be good this year, but they really havn't been impressive in their last eight games, starting with the miracle win over the Bears that required an all-time gaffe on a hail mary. They're less than two weeks removed from a one-point win over a Saints team that looked like they should be relegated to the UFL four days ago, where a fifth-round rookie led a last-minute touchdown drive and then threw a poor pass on a poorly-designed two-point conversation play that would have won the game. They were well on their way to a loss to the Eagles until Jalen Hurts got concussed, and then his backup got injured too. Their only wins of more than three points in the last two months were by five over a Giants team that is in the drivers seat for the #1 pick (yes, I remember at least one of the teams the Giants beat) and a blowout win over a Titans squad on life support.

I'm not saying I think the Falcons will win, but I'm not writing in a loss yet. It would be helpful to us if the Commanders did win though. We should all be rooting for Tampa to win that division. That would mean most likely the Vikings in the first round rather than the Packers. Then if we even advance far enough to be playing Tampa, it would be at their place rather than ours, which sadly, is better for us.

I guess the lesson is, everyone looks flawed right now. Just get into the dance and you never know.

We need to root for 'EL Shrimpo' and WR Harrison and hope the Cards D can lay some smack on Stafford while smacking Nacua
around.
