The thing is the Cards are a team that could pull off an upset. You know...Kyler scrambling his arse off for big gains or hitting receivers downfield against a weaker Rams secondary. Not saying it's likely or anything, merely interesting until not so...

It doesn't matter what the cards do. We just need to beat the Rams and get some momentum going into the offseason. My ideal scenario is that the Rams beat the cards, then the seahawks send the rams into the playoffs with an L while gaining some good momentum into the offseason.

In what world is that a better scenario than the Rams losing Saturday, allowing our win over them to put US in the playoffs instead?

You really want to see this team in Minnesota or Greenbay? I'm over it, looking forward to watching what moves are made this off season.
Of course I want to see them in the playoffs, one of the best moments in Seahawks history happened to a weak 7-9 team that limped into the playoffs. Giving up would deprive us of another chance at an immortal play…

Because I dont think this team is capable of beating any team in the playoffs. Atleast beating our division rivals before they enter the playoffs would give us momentum for next season. I dont see the rams going past the 2nd round in the playoffs. Id rather us finish off the season with a win against the Rams than watching them get rocked by an actual playoff team.

Winning that game tonight most likely means hosting Green Bay if we make the playoffs. We probably need Atlanta to lose to Washington this weekend for that to change.

I'd absolutely love a re-match with GB. Maybe get crushed again, but would love to see how the team/coaches handled it.

Making the playoffs (even if they lose) is better than imaginary momentum

Cmon now
