No, but what kind of disgusted me was his play on Geno's scramble down the right side.. as Geno is scrambling way beyond the LOS.. Woolen, instead of breaking off coverage maintains coverage instead of going down field to block for Geno.. just stood there covering the out of play receiver as Geno ran by him.. I thought that was really weird. maybe I missed something.
I think I need a decoder ring.

Yeah, it's just frustrating, Woolen is out of position on EVERY Geno scramble, has given up on the play, even to the point of being out of bounds on the sideline, when he should be blocking for Geno. Just not a team player! ;)

C'mon, man, I gave you the decoder ring a couple posts ago! Have some fun with it! Yup, Woolen should be clearing a running lane for Geno, at least tripping opposing DBs. I think MikeMac may bring in Mike Tomlin or Woody Hayes for a special coaching consultation with Woolen.

All this time, I thought Woolen played defense, while Geno plays offense. I'm just getting tired of DK standing around at Safety letting the Tight Ends get wide open

Woolen had his best game of the year yesterday. Thought he played without the absent physicality that has been missing in his game and he looked a whole lot like Witherspoon yesterday.

I hope his coaches told him as much and remind him how that had been missing from his game.

If he keeps it up all the grumblers here will cease and find another person to throw racks at.

Clip not playing the video..

Anyway, I thought Woolen played an outstanding game; and finally got the OPI call on pass breakups that he has been asking for for weeks. Those OPIs have been costing him interceptions and largely going uncalled.

I also wonder if Harrison Jr is playing hurt, or we're seeing why he forego all the pre-draft testing. The guy doesn't seem to play with the level of juice needed to separate from NFL CBs (or heck, even LBers, seeing how Knight blanketed him). Whereas with the other rookie WRs, such as Nabers, BTJ and Ladd you see that juice.
I wondered about Harrison predraft. the not testing was weird and watching his highlights, he was rarely open and was making contested catches. If you can't get open in college then it will be much harder in the NFL. NFL CBs are way better than college and better at defending contested catches.

I certainly don't watch tape and he was consensus high draft pick material so figured he must show more than I see.

Don't get me started on Dickson with those deep pass plays...always out of position. He has one job!
Yeah Dickson is a turnover machine, I can't belive he still has a job... Come to think of it Jon Ryan was a turnover machine too...🤔

I think people are underestimating Byron Murphy as our top Slot Receiver.
Then again, Nwusu has been injured. How selfish!

And would it hurt Big Cat to just for ONCE....actually throw an accurate long ball? Just once?
I am actually quite disappointed in his route running. I thought he was finally starting to get it after last weeks touchdown.
