It's not all Jerry. He wanted to draft Johnny Manziel and got talked out of it. He knows how to make money - that's about it.
Schneider has made some dumb picks too. I can't stand Jerry, but when you look at his overall record, either he's doing something right or trusting the right people come draft time.

His ego gets in the way of everything else apparently.

The Cowboys actually draft phenomenally well, especially on the OL. They're constantly finding these steals and adding cheap talent, it just never translates to playoff runs for some reason. Jerry is an awful GM for sure, but he is shockingly good with the draft.

The Bengals got two mega stars with top five picks, and screwed up basically everything else.
Yeah .

Does anyone know how much the Bengals have tied up in the QB and 2 WR? Are they trying to make the citizens of Cincinnati kill themselves?

Just wait for Myers to miss a field goal and we'll be back at it.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Maybe he’ll get an early season reprieve for his record setting Super Bowl performance but I doubt it lasts long

Any players left on the hate train for .net. Seems like Woolen was 1/2 & 1/2 on these forums. Now that he is gone I guess we still have Bradford as a whipping boy but he did improve last season. I feel with the new recruits and any drafted players will conform to the current team identity. Feels weird honestly. Good but weird.
I'm not calling out the individual poster as everyone seems to do it and I'm likely in the minority of those who don't, but I always bristle when someone uses the word "hate" so casually. To me, if you hate someone, you wish that they were dead. I reserve the term for hardened criminals, child molesters, abusive spouses, that sort of person.

But I get the point. Woolen got the treatment he deserved, so I have zero sympathy for him in the way fans treated him.

Quarterbacks evoke a love/hate relationship amongst fans because they play the most influential position in the game, and their performance is front and center in everyone's view finder. And we all know about the Monday morning quarterback who knows more about how to play the position than the player himself.

Kickers are another position, very similar to the quarterback, where everyone sees when they fail.

General managers are also a prime target for much the same reason. It's like at work where everyone questions the boss's decisions. Most of the times, critical employees don't have the same information as does the boss. The same is true with a GM. Us fans are great at leveling criticism, but we are in no way, shape, or form in a position to offer a fair critique of an NFL GM.

So, there's your candidates. Sam Darnold, Jason Meyers, and John Schneider.

Give it time. New owners, at some point JS again or the new OC. Still got the whole outrage over whether the seahawks do or do not go to the white house depending on where you lean.

Does it have to be a player. Right now JS is the clear leader in some circles for the early whipping boy. Again not a player but if the offense struggles at all, I think Fleury will be a target
You spelled Darnold wrong.

He's the first person to point fingers at (as is all QBs when things go awry).

Hopefully he and Fleury get on the same page and can keep the good times rollin'

What about the people who drive the speed limit in the far left lane? They are the true evil in this world.

I feel like "hate" has evolved to be used pretty casually, like something just marginally worse than "dislike". I'll use it to say I hate when we run on third and long, I hate the Rams, I hate the entire cast of The Big Bang Theory, etc... not ambiguous, but I'm not wishing for anyone's demise either. For the worst of the worst, I use words like despise, loathe, abhor...

Every team has an "Anthony Bradford" on their line. There's just not enough good linemen to go around.
I know Bradford is the whipping boy dejour and people put together videos of him missing blocks etc but has anyone watched him closely on other plays ?

The dude is nasty to whomever is lined up in front of him . He mauls.

If he is replaced this next season I will eat crow but my guess is he isn't going anywhere

ALthough Bradford did seem to up his game late in the season I am still primed to see someone come in to compete for his spot. If he wins out so be it but I would like to see more improved play at that position.

If it happens that way so be it.

Not as bad as the non turn signal people and clearly not even as close to evil as the people who don’t know how to merge onto the freeway at the speed of traffic. Those people piss me off the most. If the speed limit is 70mph then hit that gas pedal so you can merge like you know wtf you’re doing!

And their is the problem with the statement, most don't know WTF they are doing, cannot read the signs, and are afraid of the mechanical beast they are in control of.

The problem is that Christian Haynes apparently is far worse so the only thing he's pushing is his way off the team at this rate instead of Bradford.

I agree that they need to bring in someone to compete for the spot OR...OR...hear me out on this :

Cabeldue and Richmond take another step in their development and challenge Bradford for the RG spot.

All of this is FACT.

Here's another one for you two :

Imagine you stop at a red light. You have your 'right turn-signal' on to turn right, and there is no "No Turn On Red" sign but you decide to wait until the "Green Light" before turning.

Now imagine the ANNOYING HONKING (🤬) behind you by someone who wants you to turn right even when there is traffic going back and forth in front of you.

Basically, they want you to risk being in an accident because... F.U. That's why.

THAT is the ultimate Road-Rage-inducing BS.

I hate those people who are impatient as fk in that regard.

It was so constant, I started to not turn on my right-signal at Red Lights until the Traffic Light turned Green.

That said, I also feel smug in knowing that I make these idiots wait longer than they had to by not revealing my intentions. :devilish::devilish::devilish:

....uh....what was this thread about again? 😶
