We saw Russ do it countless times. Going 80 yards in 1:36 isn't impossible, teams going down the field quickly isn't something new.
If the ref does his job, we get to at least see if they could have done it. ✌️

Wouldn't have been easy, but we see teams overcome those kind of odds all the time.
Exactly. They clearly had a chance.

If the NFL morons try to fix this BS in the offseason (doubtful) they'll still find a way to over complicate it and screw it up.

"Well, it wasn't reviewable, because the non-call in question happened on a Thursday, would have benefited the visiting team, and there was still 1:36 on the clock. Per NFL rules, it has to be on a Sunday, has to benefit the home team, and there must be less than 1:30 on the clock." 🤪

The fact that it's the Rams makes it little to no shock, at least to me.

And someone brought up an interesting point. If ALL scoring plays are reviewed, that was a scoring play technically, they should make a facemask something that is reviewable. I doubt they ever will, but it was a decent point. Sh**, the entire world could see that was a blatant face mask. Have someone call down to the refs and tell them it's a facemask and the Clams shouldn't get a damn Safety. It's just yet another game where the refs have an impact. That f'ing ref is standing right there. There is NO CHANCE he doesn't see Darnold getting his head turned sideways. ZERO chance.

And I'm not saying it's why the Rams won, they were damn solid last night.

I truly hate the Rams who repeatedly get ridiculous call from the referees.

I hate for other reason besides the above, and would love to McVay get smacked in his smug face. Yep, just don't like them .

I still think McVay is the best coach in the league. The Rams just get snake bitten by injuries year in and year out at critical positions.

Thanks for the morning laugh. Best in the league? Easy, kid.
I don’t think calling McVay the best in the league is stretch to be honest. I think most objective fans would place him top 5. He has shown the propensity to strategically win games where they were truly outmatched from a talent standpoint. Now, I do think his 3 point showing to Belichick on the biggest stage caused irreversible damage to his legacy, but his teams rarely lose from poor coaching.

Plus, as a Seahawks fan…..

How do you not respect him? Most Seahawks - Rams games resembled “The Gimp” scene in Pulp Fiction with Carroll being Marselus Wallace and McVay being The Gimp and Zed all rolled into one.

It is to me. He's damn good. But best in the league. Yeah, no.

In what world did I say I don't respect him? He's very good. The Rams envy has always just been odd. TO ME.

Yeah, good thing the ref didn't have a good view of dude spinning his head around and taking him to the ground BY HIS FACEMASK.
We are getting close to Halloween. Maybe the ref thought there was some Exorcist stuff happening with Darnold's spinning head.

McVay used to make Carroll look like his bitch every gameday. I hate admitting it but he's one of the best offensive-minded coaches in the league, period. In fact, sadly, the two top offensive-minded coaches are in our division!

I really wish he would have retired, and that Puca and Kupp would still be sidelined until Week 17.

It is annoying AF that 2 of the very best offensive play callers in the NFL just happen to be in our division. Pete was like a deer in the headlights with these 2 guys. I sure hope the chatter about Macdonald being the "defensive version of McVay" comes to fruition.

McVay probably is the best coach in the league. Id maybe put LaFleur in the conversation.

Agreed. Top five for sure. It's really, really hard to argue that Andy Reid is not the best active coach in the league.
