vs Falcons, now that was a Mac defense we love. Some clean ups have to be done but still a damn good performance overall. Seahawks are starting to cook I can feel it.

I hear ya man and I'm cautiously optomistic as well. Hope your feeling is right. Don't sweat the other poster...he corners the market on how fans should think and respond according to a sliding scale I have yet to figure out.

I am enthusiastic about our future due to the changes being made to our defense. I have long railed for a defense that attacks instead of playing strictly reactionary styles. This defensive scheme is intended to do just that and I love what I am seeing so far. We have 2 guys with four or more sacks each. We were able to shut down their running game in the second half yesterday, although being behind had a lot to do with the Falcons play calling and primed the pump of our rushers. That was a signature win for the Seahawks.

This Sunday, our defense will be put to the test against one of the premium QB in the league with their #18 (68.6) ranked pass blocking, and #24 (69.9) ranked run blocking. Bill's passing is graded 67 (#18), and their running is 87.6 (#6). This is another chance to showcase our improved run defense.

Yup, we held the falcons to 22 total run yards during the second half. The run defense will get better and better. I'm still predicting number 1 total defense once the season ends.

All good. My optimism has gotten over my ski's as well. Then the 0-3 b!tch slap, now a resounding win against a decent Falcons team. Fan emotions run the gauntlet.
Kicking the crap out of the Bills at home would get me into lofty expectations again!
