Henry would make a lot of offensive lines look better than they are. Such a ridiculous talent. Imagine how even more highly-regarded he would have been had his career began 20-30 years earlier.
His high school tape is a fun watch. It's difficult to not feel for the poor, genetically-inferior defenders who would jump into his path even though it was basically suicide.
I was crucified for bringing up this idea months back (in addition to drafting McCormick and/or Puni in the mid rounds). I also thought we should bring in Luvu currently in DC.

Derrick Henry is a phenomenal player, and I have little doubt he'd be having an excellent season here. I'm not upset that we didn't pursue him though, as it wouldn't have made much sense with our personnel, and giving a second (third in this case) contract to a running back is nearly always a bad idea. If anyone was going to buck the trend though, I'm not surprised it was Henry.
