Refusal to spend on the OL gets this team blown out by above average DL’s. It’s varsity vs JV today. Geno has masked a lot of their issues against lesser DL’s, today giants are just ripping them apart. Unacceptable to be this cheap at such an important unit.

While John has final say, I trust he will be very receptive to MM's input for assembling a team that fits his vision. MM knows that (cliche alert) the game is won in the trenches. It has already started with Murphy. It's gonna take a little while to overhaul Carroll's absurd "build from the outside in" approach.

Who was John’s boss? Who had final decision making power in all personnel decisions? Ignorance is blaming JS for the composition of this team, and it isn’t bliss.

He doesn’t get a free, as if he was brand new starting from scratch, pass, but he does get a couple of years to be an actual GM before we pillory him.

JS has been on record saying he priorities “value” when it comes to offensive lineman.

So, it’s fairly rare to see JS drafting guards/centers in early rounds of the drafts, so, we get scraps….and the product on the field shows….

THAT'S the problem. He just needs to change "value" to "talent".

I believe that our scouts for OL need to be replaced, we haven't discovered any starter-level linemen in 3rd - 6th rounds. Schneider couldn't watch films on all college linemen, just impossible, if our scouts sucked, Schneider would be watching the wrong film.
