Is already drawing the ire of Bears fans. Apparently they were abysmal on 3rd down, running 1st down empty sets, and inexplicably choosing not to run in favor of just tossing the ball around... on TE bubble screens.

Sound familiar? Let the debate end about whether the dude was part of the problem last year or not be put to rest.

Love it when our demons are cast off to torment someone else...

Although, i can say that the way Grubb started out Sunday was giving me flashbacks of Waldron. But then he went and did what Shane never could - he adapted.

Hoping he keeps it up.

And hope Shane does as well and gets the can sooner than later. Williams and the Bears deserve better.

Waldron is a joke.
But Waldron is a McVay coaching tree disciple! He pisses excellence, just like Ricky Bobby!
How can you doubt that Waldron's McVay-mentored brilliance will have the Bears hoisting a Lombardi within 2 or 3 years?
Bears just need to trade for Stafford, and the Lombardi is a done deal!

"3rd and 5-. 4/5 deep passes called. 0/5 conversions."

Sounds familiar.

Someone said it best. Waldron is good in his first 15 or so scripted plays but falls apart/doesn't adjust when he has to go off script.

Was refreshing seeing Grubb adjust after a rough first half last week. Wasn't all his fault as the oline limited what could be called but he ran it down Denvers throat second half. I doubt Waldron would have until the 4th quarter

DQ's defense sucked too yesterday for the Washington Football Team. The national sports media was hell-bent on him being our next HC. "It's a natural transition. It makes so much sense."
:D
I am with you on this one.

I never wanted Quinn to be head coach of the Seahawks.
His whole demeanor screams
I SUCK !!

Him standing there looking like an idiot with his stupid goatee .

Part way listening to the Ringer NFL preview podcast. Thought this would e a good place to post that Diante Lee put Waldron on "fraud watch" and said his feelings go back to last year. The other hosts, Steven Ruiz and Sheik Kapadia agreed with him,

I will admit to be being a Waldron apologist. Seeing more and more evidence these days that I was wrong.

You like Williams?
If so this where we differ.
I'm not impressed at all with him, to me he's like a younger Me3 but not as fast.
