His nickname is about to be "Wick" in the locker room.
Murder in Seattle is up over 40%. Tacoma has a shooting almost every night.
Elections have consequences.San francisco is a shithole now thanks to those running it. Same with Seattle. Pretty sad when Goodwill closes their doors because crime is so out of hand.
True. But then lose yet again to the Chiefs...maybe next year...Nah, they don't seem to even have a salary cap. Magic $ available to sign all their stars.
That is what they did, it's not a narrative it is a verified fact. A narrative would be to claim crime has gone down by excluding parts of the country that always have the most crime. You can't prove that I'm wrong which is why you're trying to go off of the narrative that the FBI changed the formulation of the statistics. Yes there has been spikes of certain crime in certain parts of the country but overall crime has been on a downward trajectory for years, your paranoia of it isn't going to change that.

US homicides and violent crime overall are down significantly, according to FBI data
FBI data reveals a decline in US murder rates in 2024, with Northeastern's James Alan Fox highlighting a three-decade downward trend.news.northeastern.edu
Complete denial.Tacoma today is not as bad as it was last year or the year before and Seattle compared to last year is not over 40 percent increase, it's actually on the decline despite the month of May being it's worst month of the year so far. Now if you're comparing that to pre-pandemic numbers then yes I'll agree to that but so far this year it's been on a steady decline from last year.
Adams is good just made of glass.SO Yeah RICK PEARSALL got shot... (back on topic) Dude will play, meanwhile Jamal Adams has to sit out over a bruise.

Why not Rolex? His nickname is about to be "Wick" in the locker room.
Going by that logic Republicans shouldnt have won in Florida after Tank Dell got shot in April. St Louis, New Orleans, Memphis etc all have sky high murder rates.Elections have consequences.
You are correct, but cities of this size did not have this level of crime, or vagrancy/homelessness in my memory. Just 20 years ago, more or less, HS kids would ride the ferry from Bremerton would travel to Seattle, and wander around without worry. It is much different since then.SF is no worse than any city of it's size, neither is Seattle.
Raise your hand if you want police chasing some dumbass thru Rainier Avenue at high speeds for stealing a car.Seattle and Tacoma are two of the worst places in the country for crime in general, defunding has it's consequences, they can't even get people to come work here in law enforcement despite upping salary etc. Criminals know they can't chase, they are restricted in what aggression and defense they can use, they are all on camera, not all is bad, but when you come to Washington it's one extreme or another, we can't have a middle ground for some reason.
The no chase is also why Car theft is so high in the area, car thieves know once moving the cops will back off.
Also, between population explosion and that our insurance rates skyrocket as well.
Well guess what you can chase them without going high speed pursuit, even when I was a kid driving the Radio is your friend and gets ahead of the driver, I was caught more than a few times by them using radios, they have cameras on almost every intersection now, they have drones now, so there are options besides driving 80 to 120 miles an hour on highways hoping to catch someone who is going to wreck that car anyway trying to get away. Hell they can shoot a car with a electronic marker and just follow it as well.Raise your hand if you want police chasing some dumbass thru Rainier Avenue at high speeds for stealing a car.
There's nuances to the problems in every big city. You are correct, but cities of this size did not have this level of crime, or vagrancy/homelessness in my memory.
