The bullet entered his chest and exited out his back per reports, so it wasn't a airsoft. It just missed any vitals. He was lucky.

I doubted he was going to see the field for a few weeks because he missed training camp, now, who know how long he'll be out? I really wonder how much his injury issues played into re-signing Aiyuk. Bet it was no small part.

Why is it okay to say "unalived" but not ki-lled?

Is it like being able to say "houseless" but not "homeless"?

This world has problems that are not easily solved.
Politically correct speech is a MF. When people are forced to change speech as not to hurt someone's fragile feelings, you're not living in a truly free society.

It sounds to me as if they struggled over the kid’s gun and both ended up getting shot. Police haven’t actually said that though.

I just read something similar. There was a struggle and both of them were wounded. Pearsall was extremely lucky. A through-and-through with no organ or bone damaged.

SF is way worse now than it was 5 years ago. So is Seattle.

Not really, an uptick happened after the pandemic but both cities are on a decline just like the rest of the country, other than a few cities keeping the norm most violent crime has spiked downwards for decades. I live in Tacoma so I remember the horribleness of the 80's and 90's and other than the 4 year huge spike from 2020-2023 it's gone down this year thankfully.

Crime in the country is not on a decline, that is a complete lie politicians and media keep pushing. Crime has gone up. The FBI changed the way they track national crime statistics and several major cities with huge rises in crime are not even reported, like New York.

Yes it is, it has been for decades. New York and a few other major cities haven't reported crime rates for years so this is nothing new. Overall crime has gone down considerably in the country. I don't know what else to tell you. If you can't grasp that then there's no point trying to argue or debate you 🤷

Wow must have been a low caliber or something. Definitely trying to murder him..over a watch..
Likely jacketed bullets. As long as nothing vital lies in the < 0.5 inch wide path that they cut through the body, they tend to go through and through, without doing fatal damage.

Murder in Seattle is up over 40%. Tacoma has a shooting almost every night.

You are flat out wrong. I've looked at the numbers, crime is up nationwide and it's up quite a bit in many major cities. You're correct though, no point in trying to argue or debate if you're going to ignore the data.

You can't prove that I'm wrong which is why you're trying to go off of the narrative that the FBI changed the formulation of the statistics. Yes there has been spikes of certain crime in certain parts of the country but overall crime has been on a downward trajectory for years, your paranoia of it isn't going to change that.
