Aiyuk signing definitely takes the pressure off
I think they would have given Conley and Jennings more snaps even if Aiyuk did not sign. Pearsall did not get a lot of work in TC and Shanahan doesn't llike playing rookies

That's rough for a kid who is achieving the dream he's worked most of his life for. Hopefully he fully recovers.

Possibly shot during autograph signings...sounds like a great city that treats their players good...
San francisco is a shithole now thanks to those running it. Same with Seattle. Pretty sad when Goodwill closes their doors because crime is so out of hand.

Anyone manage to unalive the guy who shot him?

Per the police:
"Reports state that the suspect, a 17-year-old male from Tracy, California, was apprehended after also being shot during the altercation. He is currently being treated at the same hospital.

While there are suggestions that the suspect may have been attempting to steal Pearsall's watch, Police Chief Bill Scott stated,
"We have a good idea (of what he was after, but) we're not ready to release that (information) at this time."

The incident occurred in Union Square (downtown SF), a commercial area in San Francisco. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, witnesses reported hearing about five gunshots.

Just hours before the shooting, Pearsall had been signing autographs at an event at the Cow Palace in Daly City.

Why is it okay to say "unalived" but not ki-lled?

Is it like being able to say "houseless" but not "homeless"?

This world has problems that are not easily solved.

Update per Facebook:
The player's mother, Erin Pearsall, provided an update on her son.

"Update on my baby boy," Erin wrote on Facebook. "First and far most I want to thank GOD for protecting my baby boy. He is extremely lucky, GOD shielded him. He was shot in the chest and it exited out his back"
