No. He doesn't. Rojas got off to a very hot start, but has been awful for months now, and can't hit left handed pitching at all. I do agree that he plays very good D at 3rd, but his offense is so bad at this point that he shouldn't be anywhere near a MLB lineup. As far as Canzone is concerned, I'm not seeing a lot of promise. He's approaching 350 AB's at the major league level and has a 0 WAR, meaning he's been exactly a replacement level player. I'm seeing a guy that looks like a .200 hitter with a bit of pop in his bat every once in a while.
Yes. I was very critical of the Sewald trade when it happened (and ever since), and I've been
extremely critical of what Dipoto did this past off season since before the season started, and I've been very consistent in that this whole season. All of my posts are there for anyone to see if you don't believe me.
Our offense has been one of the worst in baseball this entire season. That is a direct result of the team that Dipoto built in the off season. Dipoto is the architect of arguably the worst offense in MLB this season.
