The one thing I've learned about the clues that he gives is that there are usually many possible "clues" within his draft clue, and the one that actually is the clue he's meaning is very subtle and something that is not easily connected to the player they are looking at. I think it's more interesting to go over the clues after the fact and see how it was intended than trying to figure out the actual clue.

The never make any sense to me even in hindsight. But I suck at crossword puzzles too, so there's that.
