Here's a theory: The Hawks want Will Anderson. They are trying to make Arizona think they love all 4 of these QB's. Arizona, while they like Anderson too, might be considering trading their pick to a QB-needy team just because they have so many holes to fill. Thinking they are blocking Seattle from getting one of the big 4 QB's might be just the thing that makes them pull the trigger on such a trade.

The way they structured Geno's contract is more of a smokescreen. PC and JS are having fun like they did with DK, while getting a ton of traction for Seahawks social media.

Hard to imagine them passing on any of the top 4 QBs at #5.

Totally. Maybe they'd take Anderson if he's there, but I honestly think they're as likely to trade up as trade down for a QB.

What surprises me is how many Seahawks fans have convinced themselves that there's no possible way they'd take a QB at 5. It reminds me of the people whose confirmation bias completely prevented them from understanding that Russell would, at some point, be traded.

I don't they're playing mind games or anything like that. My guess is that Stroud requested the selfie when we visited OSU Pro Day, and then one of our coaches or executives thought it'd be funny if we did that with the rest of the QBs and everyone else agreed.

We are in great position to take a QB, if the QB that we drafted happened to be ready in day one, we can get out of Geno's contract in one year. If we draft a QB that needs couple of years of developing, hey we got Geno.

And we have one of the best QB coach.

I think the selfies is part of Pete and Johns fun way of being during the draft process. Another could be to increase the value of their #5 pick, if come draft day, they decide to trade down. The other is that this will put pressure on a QB needy teams below the Seahawks to trade up to #3 with the Cardinals, so the Seahawks can draft their top-rated defensive player.

IF all 4 QB's are off the board before we pick at 5, guess what? That means Will Anderson is ours and it's Hooker time in round 2. Win-win.

Do I think that they would take all four? No, I don't think that's the case at all.

It's highly likely that they will identify one or two guys that they really like out of the 4. But I don't necessarily subscribe to the theory of having to take a QB. Unless the guy you want is available.

Fwiw the rumor was they "loved" Bryce Young. Maybe they also fall in love with Richardson. But there's a chance that he could be gone as well. Which would then shift their focus.

Levis is said to be the perfect fit for the offense the Seahawks run, sky's the limit for AR15, and passing on Stroud/Young isn't going to happen.

Hard to imagine them not taking one at #5, if one is even available.

This reads like it came directly from Rob Staton lol.

Levis is far from the perfect prospect. Same goes for AR. Call me a skeptic.

I honestly think that this whole twitter pic thing is just a joke. A troll job that the social media team is running with.

Jim Nagy and JT O'Sullivan said this about Levis as well. Hence "Levis is said to" by people smarter than you, I or anybody on this forum. You disagree with them that Levis isn't a fit when he played that offense at Kentucky?

Sorry you took it literally that Levis is a perfect prospect.

For me it's Stroud as QB #1, then Young, and Richardson, lastly Levis. Mel Kiper has Levis at #1. Draft day will be "Must Watch/Call in Sick".

I'm well aware of Levis' background story. That wasn't the point of my response. I guess I should have clarified.

My issue is mainly with the concept of having to take one. Due to perceived value, etc.

Yes, I do think that it's basically a troll job.

Not quite. The Seahawks want the rest of the league to think they love all of these QBs so someone trades with AZ to jump ahead of us. THAT way we get Anderson.

AZ could care less if we pick a QB.

Your point was understood, maybe I should clarify. With Levis said to be a good fit for the offense (having played in it his entire time at Kentucky) and a lot of upside, AR15 having so much potential (can sit and learn behind Geno), and Stroud/Young being as great as they are, it's hard to see them passing up any of them. They won't "have to take one", they'll love to take one. They simply don't get the opportunity to draft these guys ever like Carroll has stated.

Doesn't seem like a troll job at all.

I love the game they are playing with these pics. The best part is nobody knows for sure which game it is.

Are they looking at a particular an or two and don’t want people to know which one(s)?

Are they hoping to entice someone To jump in front and take another qb off the board to give them a shot at a particular defensive player they want?

Are they hoping to up the price for their own pick?

Only our guys know and they like to flaunt that.
