I think it's Drew Lock V Anthony Richardson and Geno gets a bag elsewhere

I want Richardson so bad if he can sit behind Geno for a year or two.

Stroud and Young are the only ones I personally consider day 1 guys, I’d take them in a heart beat and think nothing of it

That’s how I see it with those 3 guys.

Waldron was really good this year and I think he continues to get better too. Lots of schemed wide open receivers we haven’t seen in years. I love what I saw

Staton has a great article he just posted on the geno situation that goes into this but I love the idea of Richardson behind lock or whoever. You’re not winning a SB in 23 with geno so build your team, get a high upside guy on a rookie contract and do it right that’s my approach
I don't listen to Staton,I go by what what I see and feel..I want Hooker if we are having someone sit.
He is way less of a risk than Richardson-Yes he got hurt and won't be ready right away but he would be sitting anyway.A pick with Hooker can happen in later rounds too so build up that weak D.
With a strong D Geno/Any decent future QB can win a SB just as #3 did.

I like hooker too and wonder if he would be much higher if he hadn’t gotten hurt. I wouldn’t be supposed to that

I still think they have to get a qb. Hooker makes sense, except that he's too old to he sitting. I think he would have to start sooner rather than later.

I also like Hooker a lot if Hawks took him though it probably means we're rockin with Lock or Geno next year

I doubt it
I’m all for going D-Line x2, LB, and Center with the first four picks.

But, if Stroud is available at 5…I don’t know how we pass on that…

With Rookie bookends and RB, and grabbing a center and a late round IOL, it’s perfect timing to sit a guy under Geno.

My biggest concern with Richardson is the lack of starts and the inconsistency. Pete didn’t think Sanchez was ready to leave USC because he only started a year, and Mark was way more consistent in his one year than Richardson was this past season.

It will be interesting to see how much they like these top 4 QBs. Stroud fits the current scheme best with accurate and efficient passing in my view. However, if they love Richardson's skillset then maybe they give Waldron some RPO homework and bring in the newly available Greg Roman as an offensive consultant.

If we go elsewhere early, then Houston QB Clayton Tune is another name to circle if you're a Seahawks fan. He's a good developmental type prospect with the desired size, above average arm strength, and very good pocket presence. He also won the Air it Out challenge at the Manning academy and will likely do well at the senior bowl.

What I like about Tune beyond that is that he's showed steady improvement over the years. He had a completion rate of 50.4% his freshman year to 60% his junior year and then 67% his senior year. His AY/A was 8.9 and 8.8 the last two seasons respectively with a QB rating of 158.9 and 158. There's a big difference between playing in the American conference and the NFL, but if we're planning on sitting a QB for a season to develop then he'd be a great use of a day 3 pick.

I would be all over bringing in Greg Roman as a run game consultant going with a power blocking scheme and converting a 300 lb DL to a full back Ravens Patrick Ricard might become available

One of the top 3 QB's will likely be there at 5. Will be fascinating to see if someone else emerges after the combine and senior bowl.

First off, Stanton is a self-important idiot, which I always feel compelled to mention. Used to like him, but he went the way of Mike Florio and became a completely insufferable tool. Also, he's a complete ****. i stopped recommending him to Seahawks fans years ago.

Richardson is the epitome of a QB that needs to sit and watch for at least a year. Maybe we could franchise Geno, but I don't know how much he's going to buy in if he knows we have his replacement. There are probably several teams he could get at least 2-3 years from. I mean, it's not like he would tank the season, because he'd have millions on the line, but I like it better when our leaders are invested in our future.

I'm glad free agency is before the draft, so we'll have at least some idea on what's going on with Geno before we potentially draft his replacement.
