I think it's Drew Lock V Anthony Richardson and Geno gets a bag elsewhere

I just for the first time turned on the best tape I have seen by far from any qb recently. The kids game looks a bit familiar don't it? oh, btw, HES A SOFTMORE! 6-4" 232lb, this kid screams PC, and screams Seahawk:

I'd be giddy. He needs to sit for a year or two, which is fine.

But his athleticism is like Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson made a human. And the reports on his character, leadership, and ability to run an offense (as opposed to his coach telling him where he's going with the ball after every snap) are all positive.

And the football looks small in his hands! That's a cannon.

Utah tape, he literally won the game from start to finish almost by himself.

Game against Utah you thinking I am drafting this guy, game against Florida St you are thinking “ who gave this guy a uniform he sucks!”

Way too inconsistent for me I don’t care how far he can throw a ball or his 40 time. If you want a QB that has great physical skills and don’t mind a cheap project Tennessee QB Joe Milton

Josh Allen didn't exactly light it up in college either. He was picked where he was because he had elite size and skills and good character by all accounts, and teams thought they could take those physical gifts and talent and character cred and coach them up in the NFL. It worked.

There's a lot about Richardson that's similar to Allen in these ways. And we know that Schneider loved Allen that year and wanted him. For these reasons, I wouldn't rule out or think it crazy if the Hawks bought a lottery ticket on him. If they hit, maybe you get a franchise QB for a decade or more.

I don't know. There's going to be so much speculation and reevaluation going on the next 3 months it will make you dizzy.

This kid can extend the play and throw on the run, and he is dual threat that can kill you in chunks on the ground, in the nfl. Just leave it at that, he's 6 4" 232 and has an upper nfl tier arm, he's a sophomore, he pushes Lock, or wins the job. They will use his legs like they used Russ if he wins the job. Character is ++

I like the height for sure but all the running?Meh it turns into injuries like Lamar.
His passing is like Lamar again and may never get better.
The big thing is his processor-I'm not sure anything matters if he doesn't have one.
He might be worth a late pick as a project.

I would 100% agree with you, but we have Waldron.

In terms of calling plays that make it easy for an athletic qb, and maximizing/forcing their talent on the defense, I think it's a good fit and he's in our range, I might pull the trigger as long as we get a top tier DL in the top ten.

Those were basically the first two starts of his career. Tough crowd.

The reason I started looking at qb's is the amount of draft capitol, and also I don't know how we're going to make Geno happy at the price he wants.

He's waited a long time and worked a long time, if I were him I'd make as much money as I could, it's his last chance to do so.

DL and then Richardson in the draft is enticing, unless we can sign Geno for a discount and he throws less picks because he doesn't have to press with an improved defense and team.

Some say that's not good
Waldron was really good this year and I think he continues to get better too. Lots of schemed wide open receivers we haven’t seen in years. I love what I saw

Staton has a great article he just posted on the geno situation that goes into this but I love the idea of Richardson behind lock or whoever. You’re not winning a SB in 23 with geno so build your team, get a high upside guy on a rookie contract and do it right that’s my approach

Swap Richardson with Will Levis and you might have something here.

I like Levis too and he’s safer I think coming from a pro system that is really similar to Seattles offense. I’m in the minority but I would be fine with any of the top 4 guys. I just think Levis is gone by 5 unless he blows the combine
