Both Dallas and Walker absent from practice. Thoughts on this signing? Just glad it wasn't Turbin or Collins...Gallman should play if both are out i think?

I don't know too much about Gallman but he did run for 135 yds on 16 carries against the Seahawks in 2020 while he was with the Giants.

I would love to see Gallman and Jones successfully carry the load next game and give K9 the week off. Probably too much to hope for..

They should be able to carry the load given to them vs the Panthers. I don't believe it will be all that bad to carry. I believe the load will be mostly put on Geno and the receiver group, which are more than capable to handle it. Geno will have good protection from his Oline and Defense will have their more than fair share of 3 and outs. This will be a good win for the Hawks.

If we can generate some kind of mediocre running game, we should be able to win on Geno's arm.

He's versatile. Injury prone for sure. But we just need a couple of weeks of mediocrity.

No doubt, at least he has experience. Let him play, and it sounds like Homer will be back. Get that W, ugly or not on Sunday. Then bring back K9 on Thursday.
Then, if Walker doesn't have 7 touchdowns and 250 yards, we can hear how he sucks and misses blocks.

(relax, it's a joke)

I'm not optimistic about this game. Teams have our running game figured out. All our running backs are dinged up and we'll be relying on relative nobodys. Our OL hasn't done a good job protecting Geno lately. In the last 3 games, we've given up an average of over 200 yards rushing, including 170+ yards last week to an offensive line in tatters. HFA in Lumen is a thing of the past. Panthers have been playing well lately and are still in the hunt for the division title.

This is a trap game if there ever was one.

Are you even a fan of this team?

What does this have to do with Wayne Gallman?

There, I said it before someone else attacked your perfectly logical and sensible post. It's a Trap!

Doesn't a trap game signify a team we're overlooking?

Ain't no one inside our outside that locker room should be overlooking any team after losing to the rest of the mediocre NFC South and a bad Rams team with half their starters out.

There is ZERO chance the Hawks are overlooking the Panthers. Zero.
If the fans do? No impact on the game. That team will be plenty ready. They have something right in front of them to accomplish.

Panthers haven't won a game on the road.
No way will they come into Seattle and win this game. This is my thoughts!
I'm sure the Hawks aren't overlooking this game one bit! They still have plenty to prove and they will want to show it.

I hope you are correct.

However the Falcons are 1-5 on the road and their only road win was in Seattle. The Raiders (last Seahawk home game) were 1-5 on the road and they beat the Seahawks. Those are two teams the Seahawks should have beat at home. Hopefully, the Seahawks play better against the Panthers and take care of their home field with a win.

Perhaps the 'trap game' term doesn't apply here. I dunno about the doings inside the locker room. All I'm saying is that the comparative records, us at 7-5 and the Panthers at 4-8, are a little deceiving. When I start looking at both teams' recent games and compare their strengths and weaknesses, I don't like the matchup.
