I think we can make the playoffs but I also don't think we're going anywhere in the postseason. This team has some HUGE flaws. At this point I think we're going to barely miss the playoffs.

The D-Line and LB play in particular are problematic. Even the worst rushing team in the NFL, the Bucs were able to run at will against us. We don't get any push up the middle and aside from Nwosu, our pass rush is virtually worthless.

On offense our rushing game is hit or miss. We get no push from the interior line. Our center and RG positions are lacking.

Honestly, at this point I think we should just go pass heavy with Geno and use the pass to set up the running game. I think that's probably where we are going to get the best returns. On offense we have the weapons to do things.

I hate to admit it but I'm on the pessimistic side. After that disaster, and seeing how weak our D still is, no I don't think we "right the ship" nor make the playoffs. I also love Geno, but for the love of god hope we draft a good QB with a high pick while we can. Yes we need help elsewhere, but even if Geno can win for a year or two, he isn't the long term solution at QB.

If we do make the playoffs, even should we not be one and done, I will be impressed, but we will be quickly outclassed. We just don't match up with the top teams of our conference, not yet.

It’s hard to pass on what’s been labeled as a quality QB but, I honestly hope we don’t draft one before the 4th.

D-line and LB. Hit these hard and we will see a big difference as early as mid-season next year.

I’ve flopped back and forth on this and of course, it hinges on Geno’s shoulders. But if we hit D hard…and get lucky by grabbing a guy like Penix later on…I’d be happy.

I used to want Levis, Richardson, Stroud, Young, etc…

Our biggest deficit is Defense. Particularly, line and LB.

I voted Yes!

6 games to go, and of those 6 games I believe the team can likely win at least 4 resulting in a 10-7 season which is a great deal better than most all of us believed would be the case at the beginning of the season.

This last game for sure hurt the team's chance of making the playoffs. However, even that is still possible but the D needs to get right.

I am glad this L against LV was a non-conference game as it hurts slightly less but undoubtedly still hurts. The opponents who have succeeded against the Hawks are teams that decoded the D and followed the formula of running the ball against the Seahawks. Figuring out how to stop the run will go along way to ensuring the team wins 10 games or better. LV, TB, Atlanta, Detroit, and SF all ran the ball down the Hawks throats. The coaching staff needs to fins a fix for this atrocity that is the Hawks run D.

To me the gap integrity is still suspect and there always seems to be whiffed tackles by the ILB group. There is frequently far too much green field open once the DLine is breached. In short the run support looks lately to be on life support.

Voted no, only hecause I still think they need the personnel and that isn't happening until the off season. I think Seattle sneaks into the playoffs, a grip of NFC teams seem to be all over the place. Hopefully Seattle gets hot at just the right time, they can be dangerous when firing on all cylinders.

I don't see the point of making a poll with two options when you fully understand that you're missing a very reasonable third option.

This team has exceeded expectations already and will definitely finish with more wins than most people projected for them. Whether they win 10 games or not doesn't change that, and 8-9 or 9-8 are very likely outcomes which are still good considering the rebuild is still in progress.

OMG that is because THOSE polls have already been done!!!!!

This was a post to see who thought they would get 10 wins and maybe the playoffs or...

As Dennis Green said they are who we thought they were.

If you want to vote for 7 or 8 or 9 wins then go vote at the links above. For **** sake

Isn't that a bit like asking whether fans will go shirtless or pantless to the next game? And then when people point out that there are other options, you say that people already talk about going to the game wearing Hawks gear.

Aren't your questions like someone who goes into a mcdonalds and asks why they can't buy a dominos pizza or apple iphone???

You want to vote for something else go to those threads that give you those options.

You want an iPhone go to that store don't go to mcdonalds.

You don't want to vote in this poll, then don't. But don't come and complain.

This is exactly how I see it. Seahawks will win 8 or 9 games this season, which is more than expected— mainly because the rookies have played well. The Seahawks and Bears have the same problem: the defense can’t stop the run or generate a consistent pass rush. The good news is that both teams are in good position to advance the rebuild with their draft position and cap space in 2023. I am very optimistic for both my teams!

I said 8 or 9. That’s less than 10, isn’t it?

I ran through pretty much every regular season scenario and if we get to at least 9 wins we can get the 7th seed in playoffs , unless some crap teams run the table which is highly unlikely with their remaining schedules … that’s means just three more wins I think we can do three …

I figured 2 is the floor and 4 is the ceiling. So 3 looks reasonable.

This is an up and down year. I am okay with that. The team will show flashes of greatness and duds. I would love the young team to experience a playoff so we are better prepared next year. I think Pete won’t be able to fix things quick enough without impacting our seeding and playoff hopes. NFC east will have higher seeding teams than second place in west

Exactly what most of us expected. Some good, some bad, and hopefully steady improvements as the year went on.
