Let's see. Top 10 in most Power Rankings. Check. Sole possession of first place in the NFC West. Check. 3 game winning streak. Check. Geno Smith is now in the MVP conversation. Check. Team getting most bang for their buck out of their rookie class this year. Check.

The checks go on and on and on.

We are in the midsts of a dream season that nobody saw coming. Your Seattle Seahawks are now considered legit contenders in the NFC. The graph chart has been exponentially trending upwards each week and I don't see that drastically changing any time soon. Sure, there will no doubt still be bumps in the road, games lost, but right now I can't think of a more exciting team to watch.

We've had the Cardinals number in their house for years. Although it became the ultimate House of Horrors in the final moments of SB49, and yes we have suffered some bad injuries to key players there, otherwise, it's felt like a home game on the road. The Cardinals are one of those wacky teams that should be much better but they can never seem to get out of their own way and the undercurrent of dysfunction is palpable.

Even with Murray's legs and his favorite toy back in action, baring some real Soul-crushing meltdown, I don't see the Seahawks losing this one.

Get out your brooms.

This to me is an interesting game. To some, it might be thought of as an easier game but i dont think so. As head coach Pete has to keep the perception of the team in balance especially because of the rookies who are just learning Petes philosophy. What head space needs to happen to win on the road? Now that the team has had success how to they deal with that? I think these are the next challenges i think Carroll knows this.. this is what makes Carroll special.

Im looking for a tight fist half then i think the hawks will take control the second half.

Hawks 34-13

I'm thinking this will be a defensive fight with more fieldgoals then TDs. Geno better watch out for Watts and where he alines. Our defense is getting stronger each week, stop the run and we win.

Seahawks 23

Turds 6

Record 6-2

Just don't forget to let the dog out. GO K9 !!!!!!!!!!!!

If Arians were still around, I would be very cautious about predicting a Seattle victory in the desert... but he isn't, and Klingsbury doesn't know what he's doing... and Mighty Mouse isn't about to save the day without a running game to help him avoid chucking the ball downfield 50 times. Diggs and Tariq each get an INT... and maybe Coby as well.

COMPLETELY agree.

Hawks by 10+.

Murray sucks.

I just want no injuries. That's what I want for Christmas. Well, and this week. Okay, both.

I was so wrong about the Giants game, that I'm kind of afraid to make my prediction this week. The reason is, I'm just feelin' it man! I see our revitalized defense rollin' in this one! Our offense is also giving me good vibes all around, especially this week! So, my thoughts are not based on intense analytics, hours of film study, or close examination. But I just have a feeling the Hawks are going to run the Cards out of their own stadium. I will admit to being a bit hesitant about Hopkins. However, I think our young guys keep up with him for the most part. Therefore, I have our Hawks moving on up to 6-3. Think about that y'all...6-3!!

Hawks - 33
Cards - 23

(It only gets that close in garbage time!)

Make absolutely no mistake about it - the Chargers and Giants game were statement games. Just like I wanted.

Yea, we had some problems - Jesus how often does Lockett turn over anything? Or drop anything for that matter - but at the end of the season? THOSE games are where we got our swagger, and our roll started.

I think you're exactly right. I hope we walk into their house, with swagger, and crush them. Still calling it us by 10+, just like the last 2.

And even Murray's lime green electric 70's pimped out suit won't change that. Cringe. And I love your garbage time comment - foot on their neck and spit in their face ;)

Edit: Final comment - the reason I'm confident going into this game is that if feels like it's time we actually un-corked the offense on someone. Like 42-0 Eagles victory in the old days. Lockett doesn't give them 7 points on the turnover (again, never happens), and doesn't drop a rainbow in a bucket (never happens) and that Giants game is, well - Embarassing for the Giants. So, let's uncork it.

Now 4-4 for the year and still resolved to not pick against my team.

These two teams know each other well and even with the Cardinals top WR back they won't be able to prevail on the Hawks resurgent D who will spy Murray while our solid young DBs will keep that pair from scoring much. I predict another close game like their last game as the Cardinals do have a solid D but Geno will take all they give him and prove himself again to be dominant. We will see a few big plays from K-9 as well.

The game will be truly won by the Hawks D who once again will build more upon the last three game of excellent play, but it will be a total team effort and they will leave Glendale with a W.

20 -13 for the Seahawks.

Division games can be wild in the NFL. Just last week the Browns put a 32-13 hurting on the Bengals, and the week before that the Panthers upset the Bucs 21-3.

The Cardinals actually outgained us in week 6 and are a much better offense with Hopkins playing. However, our defense has continued to improve since that game and I expect DK and Tyler to get more than two catches a piece this time.

This will be a tough matchup. Hawks D will have problems catching Murray, but will mostly cause Cards to have to settle for FGs instead of TDs, despite moving the ball up and down the field. Hawks will get 2+ turnovers and win the turnover battle. Both teams score 5 times, but Hawks O does a better job in the red zone, and gets a long TD from Walker or DK and winds up with 2 more TDs than the Cards. Another solid, efficient game for Geno.

The lop-sided score due to defense and special teams and not necessarily from an offensive explosion. At least not in the first half. Seattle wins the turnover battle. Red zone stops are the new normal. Walker becomes the week's fantasy star from racking up 4th quarter yardage in the four-minute offense. Carrol was just trying to burn clock, but Walker kept breaking loose. Nwosu, Woolen, and Neal come up big.

This is the vision that the spirit animal brought to me. The dog park enlightens him.

I think it's not as close as it looks with the Cards getting a garbage time TD.
