You know, even if the Broncos still have a poor offense but the head-scratching offensive play calls disappear, I think that'd be good enough for me--as long as the media caught on.

I think this is the likely outcome- that Rypien just plays better within the system, but still is limited by his backup talent.

Although it could just be that Hackett shines and makes Rypien look good in the same way Rush looked good in Dallas. Good defense, simple gameplan... just do what the play calls for and let the scheme win the down... for how everyone that can last.

Hacketts job is on the line. I think Rypien will play well. Only issue is he's going up against a stout Jets D.

This may sound far fetched, but if Ryien played well with teammates' support, against a strong Jet defense. Hackett with job on the line may just insist on Russ rest couple more weeks. Now, if Ryien keeps playing well, and Russ doesn't play well after his return. We will have a full on QB controversy between HOF All-Pro Russell Wilson vs Ryien,

I posted this somewhere but if Rypien plays well and has the teams backing (someone else said this too), they'll lean on an injury as the reason to keep Russ out.

Yes but I hope this doesn't happen cause they only thing I want out of the Donkeys is a HIGH draft pick.

Dont care anymore about the QB stuff just to knock RW even further down. The Damage has been done now it is time to hope Denver loses every game.

With that fragile psyche, this will not end well for Russ. His nightmare now would be for Rypien to pull a Geno, with Pete, he could insist on coming back early to prevent Geno making a go at it. With Broncos' new ownership and Hackett, Russ may not get that support?

This is Hacketts call. He knows that this is his PC v Wilson moment. He has a chance to show that his play calling isn't the issue. If Rypien goes in and even in a loss, moves the offense, hits the open guy and scores a few passing TDs, Hack will earn some respect. If the team rallies around Rypien and moral ticks upward, I could see Hackett putting Russ back in this season, but on a very very short leash. And if Russ falters again, I fully expect the injury card to be played for the first time, maybe as a reaggravation of one of his current 'ailments' and for him to be sat down.

And if Rypien then plays well, I don't think Russ comes back this year. they shut him down, and figure out what to do about him in the offseason. Give him a chance to learn the offense from his couch and come back next year with a better grasp of the plays and a mended PR image. And at that point, he may be coming back to a different coaching staff...
Isn't the offense one that he and Hackett put together?Tailored to Russ needs?
i mean let's be real here..You honestly believe without his wheels and a slow
processor that he fits in any offense but a very limited one?
On another note I think the injury is fake and Team3 put that BS PR out.

Rypien can operate in Hackett's offense by hitting the crossers. Very similar to Boise State.

Don't be surprised if the Broncos offense can actually sustain drives and convert downs.

The Donks fanbase caught on faster than ours did.

Is that an iceberg?...
They don't have 8+ years of mobile Russell to cloud their judgment. I think Hawks fans would see what only a few of us have been seeing if this was their starting point. Its plain as day if you have no preconceptions

That's according to team 3, Russ is an equal partner with Hackett, he has his own office in the building, just like Hackett. Under this structure, it would be hard to think that Russ and Hackett didn't sit and design or at least review all the plays in playbook?

Yes so if he can't even execute the playbook he created for himself
what does that say?
I think he can only retain a few plays in his head and has winged it
the whole time.
Delay of games, wasted time outs and a whole bunch of stupid sacks.
it really starts to make sense along with other(s) takes.
