Hopefully Sewald bounces back and has flushed his last two games down the drain.

Welp, that was short lived. Looks like it's back to the same old Kelenic.
Yep could have been the hero there but chases 2 pitches in the dirt that almost hit his front foot. I knew where that pitch he struck out on was going to be low and in and I’m a Joe Nobody.

He needs to quit chasing balls outside of the zone and quit looking at strikes down the middle.

We've yet to see any Torrens and he finished the reg season hot. Shocked Kelenic got the start honestly. He needs to come up big.

Would be so Mariners for us to win the game on a Torrens pinch hit walk off. He has been very clutch for us.

I liked Ty’s aggressiveness there just missed the Barrel.
Don’t know what Moore was swinging at with 3-2 count.

Pitching is just too good in baseball.

Also doesn’t help this team struggles to score runs at home.

I’m not sold we beat the Blue Jays if they were home games. Something about this team on the road feels better.
The games are supposed to provide an advantage at home for various reasons. For these guys, it's the opposite. Moving in the fences in LF/LCF I think has hurt the offense potentially. With the bigger OF, the outfielders on the other team need to cover more ground to chase down fly balls. It seems like the M's hit a TON of fly balls in Seattle that just hang up in the air to be caught. They might drop in with more space between the fielders. Remember how well the offense did at Detroit near the end? They need to move the fences back & build their OF around speed on defense & offense.

discussion for another day and thread perhaps, but how did moving the fences in make the OF bigger?
