I'm sold.
This defense literally couldn't get much worse. Waldron got the offense looking strong.

Bring in the mighty Dan Quinn

Whenever Pete retires I'm all over it! Even though his record is 43 and 42 as a head coach.

Hearing this Micah interview makes me want DQ even more as HC.

Atlanta's Defense while he was HC there was top half of the league once.
I would gladly have him back as a DC, but a big no thanks to him being HC.
He changed and acknowledged Pete's defense was out dated. That was the adjustment he made when going to Dallas.

You would think he would have figured it out before he even left Seattle...hmm weird

When he left they were the best Defense in NFL history when factoring in modernity. No need to deviate from that.
I think that had more to do with the personnel than the scheme, KJ Wright has even admitted to this on podcasts, they pretty much only ran a couple of different things a game they've could've ran that defense themselves with that group

I can't get behind the Quinn slander. He took 'em to the next level on D.

I agree with Fade. If Pete goes, Quinn'd be perhaps my first interview. Just makes sense. He might be an example of the Peter Principle in terms of being a world class DC and potential underachiever as HC, but no one is a sure bet.

Quinn was a failure as hc with a decent team at that time. Also responsible for the 28-3 debacle. Great dc but not an hc.
Should've put his foot down on Shanny and made him run the damn ball. Gave his OC too much latitude.

You guys are high. Ken Norton coulda won with that personnel. That was lightning in a bottle. Pete will be here when we vie for a championship in 2-3 years. And if the Hawks continue to improve and make the playoffs this year, would be a shoe-in for coach of the year.

As a business man who has hired, fired and hired back the same family members many times, I am sold Judi sees Pete as family.

Pete will walk when he wants to and Pete will die before he walks.

Replacment? All I ask for is a guy with a proven NFL playoff track record and no in house hirings!
