Geno is writing back with his performances

Everyone wrote him off, NOW, he is writing back with his performances. Geno is top 10 QB this season, after today's RTG 132.6, 320 yards game, don't be too surprised he is graded top 5.

If you ask people here, he's terrible. Geno is definitely playing great football.

He is playing at a higher level than anyone imagined. Last year he looked average/above average in relief, but he is starting to really come to his own.

Now that the ground game is starting to rev up I think the offense should be more balanced from here out. Passing to set up the run or running to set up the pass depending on each week to week matchup. That is how it should be IMVHO as that is how the modern game works.

Kudos to Geno. He was playing it very timid and cautious to protect the ball (as coaches wanted I am sure). Some of this was no doubt play calling as some plays are designed for specific players....others are multi layered where Geno was always taking the short easy and not trying the deep stuff. This was killing our running game. Last game he started pushing it down field more which helped. This game we seen some deep shots as well as more medium. Our running game went off. Good job Geno.

Now then, Defense..........oyy, nevermind.

Geno has played the Falcons and the Lions, two teams that have struggled on defense. Ya'll are anointing him the savior far too soon. Geno Smith is just another guy, he's not going to win you or lose you games.

One game (or even 4) does not make a great QB. Two weeks ago everyone was complaining that Geno hadn't been able to lead the offense to score a single point in 6 quarters. At the start of the season the media ranked Geno as 32nd in starting QBs, after today he might be ranked at about 20. Yes I have been pleasently surprised and while his passser ratig is higher than Rogers, Josh Allan and Brady but I would need a lot more evidence before saying I expect Geno to perform better than those three for the rest of the season.
