Very bad? You are stretching man. You started this thread after two very nice intermiediate lasers in the middle of the field. That after they finally allowed him to throw, once they ran the ball unsuccessfully 20 times in a row. Ok...not 20 times. Just seemed like it. I think you are just sad this may be...the beginning to the end... to ya boy geno.
20 times in a row?

Dude, Eason threw 35 passes in the second half, you've got to be kidding me lol

Also, can we quit it with that shit? For real. I'm objectively analyzing these quarterbacks, and I haven't even been bringing out the absurdly bad stats themselves for Eason because I want to keep it on the eye test. But the guy threw twice as many times as Geno for just 30 more yards, and averaged literally 4 yards per completion.

I really don't think Eason proved what people think he did here.

I'm not emotional. I am beyond fine with losing this year.

30 more yards yet forget the 3 dropped tds. Two of them 20 plus yards. He may have not had the completion rate, but he is just better than geno. EYE TEST!!! Im objectively seeing it too. Clear as day. More intensity, more aggressiveness, more will to drive the field.

Plus two games in a row...offense does diddly with geno starting. Against mainly backups.

Geno had two drives ended by things that were completely not his fault, as well - A great pass that Swain dropped, and another very good seam pass to Cade Johnson that a Gabe Jackson penalty wiped out. I'm not FORGETTING the dropped touchdowns (although a couple of those attempts would've been circus catches that aren't really expected to be caught) I'm just not talking about them because you haven't talked about Geno getting robbed multiple times either. Figured I'd keep the playing field level.

I was going to LMAO if the Seahawks had converted 8 more points off the recovery, and then proceeded to get the ball again and tie it up. Smith & Eason would be crowned QB1 for sure.

Nope i seen that too. See earlier post i agreed with you that there were drops not genos fault. Penalties etc. Still, geno has been around long enough that its become an excuse. Perhaps he really doesnt do it for his own teammates. Challenging them to be better. Its time to see new excuses or maybe something that is better than just managing the game. Im in for losing too, but at least with someone else who will try harder to not lose.

I dunno. I think he'd have less locker room support if he was as much of a cancer as people think he is.

maelstrom you are like john but for geno... why do you defend the guy so much. did you know he refused to pay a guy 600 bucks he owed him and the guy broke his jaw? and then he made fun of a cops penis over and over when getting arrested for DUI! sad!

My sources say you can catch these hands for calling me Deandc and it'll only cost you a 5th round pick

I didn't miss Eason's wounded duck pass that was nearly intercepted. I didn't miss the 0-yard crosser on 3rd & goal from the 10. I didn't miss the near safety, the miscues, or the overthrows either. I also didn't miss the good things such as converting 3rd downs and putting the team in a position to succeed. Eason is very raw. He's not up to the standard of Lock or Smith. He's not a #2 QB and it's very late in the preseason. He's going to be on the PS after he's cut and he clears waivers.

All of that said he was a bright spark tonight. Without him this game would have fizzled out to a 27-3 final score.

Didnt say he was a cancer. Just doesnt bring his team up or draw near enough interest. Doesnt even seem like anyone cares when he is out there.

I didn't mean to put words in your mouth there, that's just generally how I think of cancers - as energy drains on the field.

I maintain that I think the interest came more from the muffed punt than Eason, but who knows at this point. It's been an exhausting night.
