Levi Lewis is truly left hand version of Kylar Murray. Just search his film on YouTube. Geno and Lock have potential and opportunity staring them in the face. But watch out. This rookie may be the steal of the off-season. He's a legit competitor.

It's going to be a battle. All 3 have a lot to offer.
Let the competition begin.
Starting gates:
Geno
Drew
Levi

Great room

Great room
Geno- just a plain bust
Drew- unproven and a big question mark
Levi- UDFA qb that will, if he’s lucky, at best be a backup in the league

None that I see have a lot to offer. Lock is best shot at being anything but again a big question mark.

Well I guess that's why we have training camp and practice and preseason aye? It's hard to judge or tell how good anybody is going to be until we see what they actually do?

Not even close. Levi is slow......... Kyler ran a 4.38. Lewis is 4.9. Levi barely out run 360lb Jordan Davis

He doesn't look slow on the eye test. He reminds me a lot of Trevone Boykin, lets just hope Lewis' career doesnt go the same way.

Jordan Davis ran a 4.7 40 at the combine... not sure that makes Levi slow.

We need camp arms and in my view that's what Lewis is and Eleby could be. There's plenty of room for them to improve based on that low bar but expectations should be low initially.

That being said, I'm not going to write off Lewis's mobility based on his 40. That's unimportant for a QB where mobility is entirely about agility, foot quickness and vision. A QBs top end speed is superfluous information in my view unless the question is whether we can convert them to another position.

Isn't the 9rs Stadium naming rights owned by Levi's? That could make for some good headlines....

Let Elebe Cook!!

Very accurate and nice touch on his throws. Who knows, Carrol and Schneider may have caught lightning in a bottle again.

How hilarious would that be! If so, A+ draft!

Both highlight reels are pretty sweet, but needless to say, it'll take a long hard look during training camp and maybe preseason games to get a feel for whether it means there's potential to take it to the next level in the NFL.

Whoa I was actually shocked to learn Levi ran such a “slow” 40 time at 4.85. He looks faster than Wilson to me on film. Anyone know what the hell happened on his 40 time??

Lewis' team played a pretty stiff schedule, including Texas and Iowa St from the Big 12, and he held up his end against all of them. He has more quicks than you could hope for as a running QB, and a great arm to go with it. He's one to watch.

I agree. Both rookies look good. I wonder if any 1 or more of the 4 have the leadership qualities of a Russell Wilson. I don't expect the rookies to be able to play early. Pete and John mentioned to the press just how difficult the position is to be a rookie starting QB.

Well Russell Wilson may have been the most on the ball rookie of all time and even he struggled for the first 8 games or so. I'd not expect much from either of these UDFA's other than maybe a practice squad position. But hopes always run high in the off season.

College tape fools even the best scouts.

Don't want another short scrambler thank you. Had that for 10 years. Give me 6.3 to 6.5 With a quick mind that sees all the reads not just the first and doesn't bail out backwards when the first read is covered.
