I'm sure he made double that off the bounty proceeds, and no doubt the 49ers will be paying the fine for him. Did them a huge favor.

Considering Thomas got a 15K fine for touching Tannehill, that should've been a 150k fine.

I watched the game you guys played against the Saints, and I remember seeing this. I was pretty sure their defense is aware of Harvin's migraine issues, and they probably figured they'd give him another one to take him out of the game. I'm shocked that DB wasn't tossed, since what he did was obvious and very cheap.

Totally agree. That's like fining most of us normal folks $20 bucks.

Clearly the hit was awful. Running full speed, shoulder to the head...the real question is, what took so long for something so clear?

This. Screw Roger Goodell and his BS player safety campaign.

In the case of Marshall and Lynch vs. bush... You can't prove intent during the game.

If a player actively breaks the dress code or their speaking obligations its easy to prove they intentionally did so.

We can't prove that Bush meant to hurt Harvin even though we all agree that he meant to.

They should fine the coach for high giving and congratulate his player for an illegal hit too. It is obvious that the team was promoting breaking the rules and has learned very little from bounty gate.

Rather than the $21k couldnt Goddell have just instructed the Saints to award us Colston or Moore for the week?

I was alright with the play when it initially happened, but when I saw the shots of the coaching staff going up to Bush afterwards on the sideline and congratulating him, that really got to me.
