Another cool Pete Carroll article

Pete Carroll friends with Scott Boras who would have thought..

I'm not familiar with Boras, and I appreciate that he knew Pete way back in the day, but his likening of Pete's experience to Joe Torre's having to learn to deal with people does not jibe with the narrative we've been accustomed to. I've never heard any instance of Pete being hard to get along with. Pete needed say-so, complete oversight of his philosophy's implementation. When he got it, his teams succeeded at the highest level.

The rest of the article is cool, though; it's neat hearing stories about that budding, inquisitive, coaching mind some 40 years ago.
