For sure, the release of Smith11 is a disappointment as I'd hoped for good things from him.

Pete Carroll disclosed in today's press conference that recently signed RB Gerald Holmes suffered a concussion ..... which explains today's motivation to sign RB Justin Stockton for depth.

Sure hope the team’s luck with RBs improves as the season will depend upon some improvement from the position.

Am curious to see what sort of pass rush can be pulled together from this group they have here now.

Bob Condotta is reporting the Hawks have released P- Jon Ryan. This leaves only 8 players including Chancellor from the XLVIII Championship team.

It is being reported by various sites that the team has traded a draft pick (believed to be 6th rounud) to the Packers for QB- Brett Hundley.

I'd be surprised if there will be more than two QBs kept on the 53 man roster so Davis is likely gone today and McGough will be waived to be picked up again on the PS, if he clears waivers at cutdown time.

WR- Tanner McEvoy has now been signed by the Saints. Doubt he cracks that roster.

I’m very curious to see what the team does with several players who really not been part of any legitimate competition for their roster spot. This will tell the story whether the ‘Always Compete’ mantra is a fiction or not. Last year there were a few decisions and roster spots kept that clearly were to us watchers somewhat undeserved.

Roster building is a curiosity to me and of course there is a factor of needed developmental time for younger players but the team’s recent success was built on allowing younger players an ability to seize a roster spot by their play rather than by their draft position.
