I always include the draft and every signing and release, trade (in and out)or retirement IR designation or PUP designation as a transaction for my calculations here so I disagree with Condotta’s number even though it maybe the ‘official’ number. I have the team making 105 transactions since the beginning of FA.

The addition of Jeremy Boykins raises the total number of players from the University of Central Florida to five. UCF is now the most represented college team on the Seahawk roster. .... I would never have predicted that happening.

UCF was a national championship tier 2 team so they must have had some good players on the team.

I’ve been looking at the transactions number in the opening post. The site http://www.rostermon.com says the team has made 105 moves and the OP indicates I believe I have identified 111. I’m looking at this again to see if I have double counted anywhere but note that maybe I am including other factors they don’t include.

As to your above post Kitsap I guess my reading comprehension was defective or I was suffering from cognitive dissonance as I thought Condotta had reported the number of 89 transactions. With many media reports as well it is important to know the correct date of the reported calculation too.

However, I am striving to be accurate here so self reporting my errors is important to me. Still think my number is right but am prepared to adjust it to be in line with rostermon.com. After I look at this a bit more I may adjust my number.

EDIT: I am adjusting my number of transactions from 111 to 105

Both Bob Condotta and Ian Rappaport are reporting the team is signing UDFA DT- Lord Hyeamang, Columbia to the team

This player spent 3 days in camp with the Jets as a UDFA and was then released so I plan on treating him as a UDFA rather than an unrestricted free agent. He looks to be a 5 tech DE or undersized DT, nice length, good speed and strength numbers.

Here is a draft profile:
