Wouldn't it be funny if Pete Carroll (who is rumored to want the Chargers job) swooped in out of nowhere and stole it from Harbaugh?? 😂
I think that you have a better chance of being struck by lightning than of that happening. But it's a funny thought.

That is a subjective opinion, not objective truth.
Only literally won at every coaching job he has had, at both the NFL & College level. That's Fact Jack! 44-19-1 with SF, and Kaperdick as his QB. Yes he is the best hire on the market, proven winner, been to a SB in only 3 seasons, and young enough he could be here 15 yrs! Yes if J/S wasn't being such a power happy prick and know what was best, he would work lock step with Jim! Jim nor any strong minded coach is coming to be J/S puppet.

And burns out his welcome fast by rubbing everyone the wrong way.

I really enjoy Harbaugh these days, personally.

I think LA was a better fit for him. We would've had to give him the Pete Carroll deal (as in, a large form of organizational control) for him to consider the opening, and it wouldn't be right to kick John to the curb after dangling this job in front of his face for almost 15 years.

Harbaugh's fantastic, but it wasn't the right fit for neither him nor us. Coaches can be found yearly, but doing the right thing as an organization is priceless.

Is that why the Seniors ran it back this season with him??? Dudes assistant after the game is literally balling saying this is for Jim! Now Michigan is offering to make him the highest paid coach in all of college sports!! Sounds like Jim has burnt himself out once again? Meanwhile San Diego is tripping over their peckers to get him out West! Sounds like your upset no ones rubbing you? J/k

Talk to Richard Sherman and Doug Baldwin.

That only happened in SF. SDSU, Stanford and UM would have loved to have kept him.
Yeah, but those are colleges, not the pros. Harbaugh never had to work with a GM in college. Different kinds of athletes, too. Apples and oranges.
