To be fair, much of their information is based off of The Athletic article. The pertinent information is that Russ has not demanded a trade though, per his agent.

The difference is I dont recall the Athletic article quoting his agent saying Wilson does not want to be traded. Of Course I am old, so I might have forgotten LOL

Yet his agent also outlined teams that would be Wilson's prefered trade destinations.

"Wilson hasn't demanded a trade but...."

This is semantics. Russ hasn't demanded a trade, but he's also been vague on whether he wants to be traded. Keep in mind that Russell has a no-trade clause, so if he had no desire to be traded, he could have stated so explicitly when asked about it directly. For example, on Dan Patrick, when asked whether he's available for trade or not, he said it was a Seahawk's question. Meanwhile, it would ultimately be his decision.

Also, his agent denied that Russell wants a trade, then immediately gives a list of teams Russell would waive his no-trade clause for. What do you make of that?

Bears are a no go, they haven’t picked in round 1 in years, Mack is to old for big time trade.
It comes down to who Seattle is targeting for QB in this draft? Is it a top 5 guy or a 2nd round Guy? It wouldn’t be a shocker if Seattle’s favorite QB in this draft is a round 2 guy or they messed up because it’s Zach Wilson!

Carroll allowed Wilson to be frustrated after his stretch of lame interceptions, it’s a set up to drive RW out of the organization! Just like I realized weeks ago from reading a brilliant post on this site by a sharp Seahawk fan.

Hes provided a list. Sounds like he wants to be traded to me. Didnt see a list provided by Rodgers and his trade rumor lasted what 2 days? This story isn't going away. Smoke is about to turn into fire. Geno better be in shape.

Except he said he wants to stay in Seattle multiple times. But whe ur team keeps looking at other QBs every year what would you think.

This was clear to everyone but Carroll.

You could tell Wilson was chafing under Carroll. Hell, we saw Carroll holding Wilson back, do you think he didn't?

What about his friends and family?

I warned that all of his people were going to start whispering in his ear about how Carroll was holding him back. And that is exactly what happened.

Wilson is very shrewd and calculating. He plays the long game well. He will win this one over Carroll.

Its not about not wanting to be in Seattle. Seattle is a great place to be if you have money. You get a nice place here and are a short jump from Hawaii when you need a sunny weekend.

It was always about not wanting to be stuck with Pete. As pointed out, once Pete signed that extension - Wilsons #s seemed affected.

Wilson wants an MVP and he wants a SB. He knows he will not stand a chance at either with Carroll. So he wants out.

He probably thought he was stuck until he likely noticed Watson was forcing his way with years left on his big contract. Since Russ was in a similar situation, he now knew he could force his way out early. I don't think he thought he could do that earlier.

This is all about getting out from under Pete. Pete's cheerleading only makes up for his coaching shortfalls for so long.

This whole mess is mostly PC's fault . 5 of the last 9 years , he had the horses including Wilson to establish a dynasty including 3 or 4 rings . Wilson on the other hand signed off on his last contract and probably wishes he hadn't . He probably also wishes he would of handed the ball to Lynch . Just saying . :D

He doesn't have to demand it, by dancing around and planting seeds about a potential trade he's adding fuel to this fire. He could come out and set the record straight - hey Hawk fans I want to be in Seatle 2021 and beyond, period.

But neither side is doing that so a shake up could be coming. Better off to prepare mentally so if it does happen no one jumps off a cliff. Life's too short. It's a game, it's a business and this offseason has been interesting to say the least.

If you don't think there's anything to all this noise, you're only open to affirmation, not information.

It is abundantly clear Russ wants more influence on offense and with personnel, and if he doesn't get it, he will go somewhere he does.

Wilson literally made the threat last year. Let Russ Cook was a warning if you recall.

The media jumped on it as a tagline but it was part of a larger sentence that was 'If you don't Let Russ Cook then he will....."

I pointed it out multiple times and frankly, everyone chose to blame Russ. Spinning the team narrative that 'Russ was burning the dinner' and Pete, a coach that likely gets outcoached by Madden on easy, had to come in and 'save' him with stupid game plans.

(The wins had nothing to do with suddenly playing a string of godawful QBs in a row....nothing to see here)

Wilson has endured years of Pete for long enough. He gave him enough chances since the SB loss. (Even if you want to pin that loss on Russ)

Russ earned the right to have competent offensive coaching and has done enough to earn the right to have a reasonably effective head coach at this point. He shouldn't have to save Pete's tail in half the games at the end of games. And he shouldn't have to overcome a string of ineffective, borderline terrible coordinators on both sides of the ball because Pete is 'loyal to his guys'.

When it comes from Wilson's agent, that is coming from Wilson's camp. It sounds like Colin and Brandon Marshall are also getting talking points from the Wilson camp. This is a campaign.

Wilson might not have 'demanded' a trade because he wants to be the good guy in this at the end. Guys that demand trades get perceived in bad lights occasionally. But Russ is making it clear, if the club does not trade him - he is going to continue to be setting and stoking fires all over this team until he is gone. He seems to be done working WITH Pete, and now will be working actively against him.

That is pretty close to a trade demand.
