Even if he won't renegotiate his $18M salary to reflect his current value?

Were PCJS wrong to release Bobby when he wouldn't renegotiate his ~$20M salary?
We had an unviable succession plan for Bobby in Jordyn Brooks, who is trash. We're still looking good at wideout without Lockett.

I think he's set to make around 26MM this next season.
The $9.9M extra cap hit is for prior year payments (dead money) and will hit the cap in 2024 whether he he is retained, released, or traded.

He has an additional $9.9M for 2025 that will accelerate to 2024 if released or traded without a post 6/1 designation.
