Which is quite... silly, really. Taunting is an extremely effective tactic. For example, look to the Greatest, the athlete of the century, Ali. He would taunt people so that they would lose their patience, their reserve. Sherman simply does the same thing, but not even at the extreme level that Ali did it. Sherman seems to only engage in taunting people that are willing to trade words with him. He doesn't bother anyone who isn't interested in talking, or won't let it get under their skin.
Personally, I think the Hawks are lucky to have Sherman, having someone that can be the focus of trash talking from other teams, and can dish it out himself. A team needs that person, a person who bites back. I'm honestly not surprised that Sherman doesn't get respect from other teams or other fan-bases. It's like everyone wants the NFL players to never say anything out of line, anything that's not predictable or cliche, ever.
I'd put a smiley that takes its hat off here, but I can't find it.
