I know Dom's hyperbole train is at full speed and all. But I do think a HEALTHY MikeRob can help the offense a decent amount. Both in terms of play at FB, but also his presence in the huddle and at the line. As a former qb, he helps a solid amount with pre-snap reads. I know Russell is amazing and all. But any help the o can get in this regard helps. It doesn't hurt having a second set of eyes out there. Especially while Russ is learning.

Three quarter speed.

Touche.

If MROB can play even 15 plays this coming week and our run game is a force it will make teams stack more for the run and hopefully open up more underneath and the deep passing game, it's his strength and stamina for blocking on non running plays that I would be worried about.

Very happy to have him back in the fold. I remember a few weeks ago seeing Mike on NFL Network as a guest host and thinking what a drag it was for him to be talking about the team he had helped bring to respectablility and thinking how sad that was, because frankly I saw it on his face. Maybe it was just me. I guess we'll find out shortly just what kind of inspiration he brings to the team after his absence. I'm stoked.

The stars are aligning...

1. Percy coming no later than Atlanta
2. MRob back to make the run game click
3. Only New Orleans and San Francisco as legitimate competition
4. Denver being unmasked
5. Indianapolis losing Harrison

Is this really getting down to a date with KansaCors City?

Who is Harrison?

I'm sure she meant Reggie Wayne (who is out for the season with an ACL tear). Probably thought of Marvin Harrison lol.
Correct. Thanks for clarifying.

Imagine, if you will, a play.

All the starters are back on the line,

Baldwin and Wilson (one L) are wide left
Robinson is under center
Behind him are Lynch and Harvin
Tate is in motion from the right.

Feel it?

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Huge fan of this move.

I don't really care about the RRR but I absolutely love having a FB that open holes for one of the best RB in the game, can be a significant threat in the red zone and can be a safety blanket for the QB so he can keep the chains moving if he gets into trouble or the WRs are not getting separation.

I know we have a better record this year but it still feels like this offense is missing something. Now the question is whether with all that time off Mike Rob is actually in football shape enough to contribute.

I couldn't be happier unless we beat the 49ers by 73 or we were already in the playoffs. One of my regular season football wishes is granted. Now whoever is making anymore wishes needs to hope and pray we get Bennett signed quickly before he becomes too expensive to keep.
I will be that person "JS/PC do what is right, sign Bennett"!. Wish used. You better cover my February wish in case:I ran out though...

Russ at WR? I am silly sometimes but no, that's insane for real.

We can do that without putting our QB in harms way tho... He can run too

Do you guys remember the pre-season? Wilson run a couple routes (deep routes).... so it's not out of the realm of possibility. We at least know they've implemented it. Now, whether or not they call it is another thing.
