I think the rules pertain to only full set uniforms. Which we have done. I never could find anything saying about mixing the combos.

Would like to see the neon green with blue pants.

About that...

That's interesting. I believe this will mark the first time we've ever worn them twice in the same year.

Here's to hoping that the win streak wasn't due to only wearing them once per season :irishdrinkers:

I can handle that look with the blue pants better than the all green

The problem with retros is that the NFL is a-nal about helmets, or at least compared to the NCAA (e.g., Oregon seemingly having new helmets/appliques every week). They don't want players changing helmets unless they've been damaged, and painting/vinyl wrap may mask a compromise in the shell. I think it's mostly a CYOA thing due to the bad optics they've had with concussions and CTE, which is more the result of dangerous play and poor tackling technique than the helmets themselves. By holding the equipment standards 'more accountable', they are deflecting blame away from the nature of the game and recklessness of the players.

They could go with the retro unis plus their regular helmets, no?

They could, but it would look really off with that clash of different blues.

They are embarrassing, period.

They should be retired after this season and sent to third world countries for people that can use clothing.

I haven't watched any games when they wear the green on green and will not in future.

WTF?

They could wear neon pink jerseys with neon yellow pants and I'd still watch.

You would actually make a conscious decision to not watch your favorite team play football simply because you don't enjoy their choice of uniform?

Dude, that's the lamest thing I've ever heard. Go root for the Bears or something.
