Sometimes an ugly win is part of the growing process. Good teams could pull out ugly wins, but the next few games will tell us more about what and who we are. Regardless of results, my flag is up and flying:
Ugly is beautiful when you look at the standings. We were calling it "Win ugly vs. Arizona weekend"
Referring to the crap sammich at UW and yesterday. But.........wins in both. Truly what matters. Nothing wrong with concern or frustration. But yep, win is a win.
I'm all for pollyanna and this was a division game, with the D playing a solid game, our running game solid, WR solid - then we have the oline (shuffling seems to have taken its toll, finally) and our QB - NOT solid - two weeks in a row - I will defer my overall judgment on QB for another week - I say that this is the week that reveals how much SISU our oline and QB really have AND the trajectory going forward
Solid game with the oline and, more so, QB, caveat.
